Desent quality.... as expected.
Nicely built. The Good:Ruler is cut to edge, (no extra length beyond zero end !!).Ruler slides very nice on magnet.Metric & Inch. ((BOTH SIDES)). !!!!! Cool! Not so good:You will not get acurat 90 line, there is wiggle space in the slide, not horible, but definitely not acurat. I would not say the compass is perfect eather. It will get you close for many projects though. Had included a way to lock the ruler in place after adjusting it would be very accurate for 90* angles... lost opportunity. Still the Ruler is both metric and srandard and very well built! Wouldn't buy again but well worth the money.

Angle finder and small carpentry square combined
This angle finder and ruler is particularly designed for use when woodworking as it is fairly heavy duty. The 8inch/20cm ruler has a gap at one end with a pointer that aligns with the protractor. It comes with a thumb screw that stores on the protractor when not in use, and you use this to attach the ruler at the correct position to use the protractor. Tighten the screw and then rotate the ruler to measure or set the correct angle. You have to re-tighten the screw anytime you rotate the ruler counter-clockwise, but when fully screwed down you can still rotate the ruler clockwise. So it's best to start at a smaller angle, tighten the screw, then rotate clockwise. The fit and finish of these set screw on the one I have is such that it's hard to turn by hand when it is halfway screwed in. The reason why this matters is that the other side of the protractor has a magnetized slot just wide enough for the ruler to fit and slide smoothly. This lets you draw accurate straight lines as a miniature carpentry square. With mine, it is thus not as easy to switch from angle mode to square mode as it should be. Otherwise, it works well and it seems sturdy enough for long-term shop use.

Cannot Lock An Angle
The media could not be loaded. This seems like it would be a pretty handy tool, but not being able to lock down the angle for repeatable lines is very frustrating to me. Either the hole is not tapped deep enough, or the thumbscrew is too long. Either way, it will not tighten down, as the video depicts. As for the overall concept, it looks like a good idea for a helpful tool, but I mainly wanted to test it for the angles. The angle markings as well as the markings in the ruler portion both seem to be correct. This is a good thing since other tools at this range are not always the most accurate. The 90⁰ is most important and tested accurate when comparing to a known accurate square.I believe I can modify this slightly with a tap or grinding wheel, but it should not need to be done. In all, I can see the usefulness of the tool, but the fit/finish could be improved.

Convenient size
This is not a bad protractor I sort of like the magnet concept on the bottom for checking if an Item is square but I would really liked this better is the Protractor side was indexable. The point on the ruler is rounded slightly making it difficult to get a precise degree of measurement so this would not be really great for precision work but for general usage it is fine.

2 uses in 1
This can be used as a right angle square or and angle measure. The ruler magnets into a slot on the back and matches the curve at the top. Or undo the perfectly pocketed screw to engage the angle measure. Nice tool.
