An utter travesty of a keyboard.
Never have I been more disillusioned with a purchase in all my years of living. To advertise this keyboard falsely as one that is weighted should be considered a crime against musicians, if not humanity. I found myself in a dire situation, in need of a fully-weighted keyboard with which I could travel, and I decided to give Terence the opportunity to prove themselves. Needless to say, they squandered that chance, and I returned this abomination of a keyboard shortly after having received it. I hope that this review finds its way onto the screens of any buyers who are considering this item for purchase.

Perfect for travel
This piano is perfect to travel with. We’ve been looking for a piano that can be folded and carried around in checkin size baggage and this piano is exactly that. Fits in the smallest of car trunks and 21 inch suitcases. The piano is not compromised of quality in anyway given its foldable feature. In fact the keys are as great as any other reasonably priced piano is. If you are looking for full size but compact piano, this is it.

A toy of a piano
First of all, I'm a professional pianist and composer and have taught all levels of the instrument for decades. I would not teach a student who only had this keyboard for an instrument because there's no way good technique could possibly be developed on it, something most parents will not know when purchasing it. The "weighted keys" are not properly balanced at all and are very inconsistent from key to key. If you manage to get to level 3 (out of 10), you won't be able to play anything fast on it because the action of the keys won't be able to keep up with your fingers even at that level. So why did I buy it, and why didn't I return it? Because it's inexpensive, folds up, has a storage bag, a bad but fairly functional pedal, and I'm keeping it at my daughter's in order to use it to compose on when I visit her during the summer. It's utterly useless to me otherwise in terms of being able to actually play anything on it with any pleasure. When it finally kicks the bucket, I'll fork out some more funds and get a decent Casio, at least, or preferably, a Roland, Korg, or Yamaha that I can enjoy playing on. Now, if what you want is simply a piano toy for young children to bang around on, then this isn't a bad purchase. If, on the other hand, you want your child to take real piano lessons and actually get somewhere on the instrument, look to the other brands above. They'll cost more, yes, but they're miles closer to being a real instrument, not a toy. I'll give this 2 stars, one for the portability and one for the storage case.

Portabilidad, calidad intermedia
