The GEL-CHALLENGER® 14 tennis shoe creates the stability you need when you're covering the baseline, so you can keep your mind focused on controlling the point. The shoe's supportive upper keeps your feet locked-in on the shoe's platform. It creates a reinforced feel during volleys or when you're dropping back to track down deep lob shots. DYNAWING technology is placed in the sidewall to improve stability during side-to-side movements. This feature offers good support, so you can step into your shot and stroke the ball with more pace. The outsole also features a separated heel construction to help you experience better stability during abrupt landings.

Style and Comfort, Reasonably Priced
I love ASICS so I bought these as a gift for my son. He said he wears 10.5, I ordered 10.5 and the for is perfect. He said they are very comfortable; I knew they would be since I had purchased the same style for myself and my husband last year. This was a great buy for a great price. The fit for an ASICS is always spot on. The style is always cool, the shows always lightweight, and ASICS are always well made. I wear mine for exercise but he will give them an everyday use.

Great for work
These shoes fit so perfectly and are so comfortable. I retired recently from housekeeping in a large care facility. I absolutely loved my job but unfortunately, my body couldn’t do it anymore. The shoes however, are so comfortable they made my job so much easier. I never worried about the color of the shoes so I always got the ones that were cheaper because they were not as popular and so I always got colors that weren’t that great. But for work and walking on those hard tile floors, they were very comfortable and the fit was excellent. If I had to go back to work again, I would buy these shoes. I’ve been wearing them for almost 10 years and I buy two pair a year because they last about six months and six months is pretty good, I would say. Oh, and how I learned about these shoes from my stepson and his wife who are professionals and in the healthcare field and food service field and they recommended them to me because my feet hurt so bad. They stopped hurting after I started wearing ASICS!

Comfy sneakers but not the best for achy joints or high volume running on pavement.
These are a nice, breathable workout sneaker for the price. They do, however, have a rather firm midsole. So unless you have never had any issues with knee pain, it's probably best to avoid these for high volume running on pavement or harder surfaces (treadmills seems to be Ok). I've struggled with some joint pain (esp. knees) that re-surfaced while I was wearing these and got much over 20 miles a week running on pavement. Going to a more cushioned model helped resolve this knee pain. But if you have a lower BMI, good running form, and no history of joint pain, these might be great for you.On the positive, these were very comfortable out of the box, fit my average width feet well, and offered good support. I wear between a size 10 1/2 and a size 11 (men's) most of the time, and the 10 1/2s fit my foot well. I'm not really thrilled with the insoles on these; they are a fairly cheap looking foam and, although not initially glued in, get stuck to midsole over time and tend to tear when you try to remove them for drying, etc.Although very breathable, the uppers are a little flimsy and developed some holes pretty quickly. I got a bit over 200 miles out of these before the outsoles started wearing through in the toe area. I don't have the best running gait and tend to supinate a bit, so your mileage may vary.If you want a nice pair of good value sneakers for walking, working out at the gym, and/or running off pavement, these should be comfy, very breathable, and supportive for most folks. If, however, you have a history of knee pain and/or plan to run a lot on pavement, it's probably best to find something with a softer midsole and/or more overall cushion. Also, you can probably find a more durable outsole in more mid to high end models.

Great
I absolutely love these shoes. Super comfortable and perfectly supported. ASICS is the only brand I’ll buy, and this is one of the best pairs I’ve had so far.

For wide feet.
I can't use most running shoes because I have wide feet, but these work well for me. Lightweight and breathable like any good running shoe. Generous padding should last many miles.
