I love this serum. It really does help soothe your skin if you have sensitive or dry skin. It’s easy on the skin barrier. I’ve purchased it several times now. Easily absorbed into skin.

This product goes on well before my liquid foundation. It's more on the watery side, but does it's job. Has no scent, goes on light, and absorbs completely and quickly. Great for my oily skin because it doesn't leave any residue. Adds some moisture, but not the way a cream would. I live in a dry climate, so I still need a heavy moisturizer in addition to a serum. This product helps the moisture last longer. I don't notice any calming benefits, but does help my skin retain the moisture.

I've tried hundreds of popular Korean toners/serums/ampoules/creams, etc. and this is the best one by far. I highly recommend it if you have combination/oily skin!

This [SKIN&LAB] Barrierderm Ringer Ampoule is nice and hydrating.I have fairly sensitive skin and have had no adverse reactions. Little to zero scent detected.I have combination skin, tends to get more dry in the cold months and in the summer heat, so this will work well for me when my skin is extra dry and needs more hydration to it. I don’t think this would be the best for those with oily skin.It’s decent and definitely gives my skin the extra hydration it needs. I’m not sure if I would order again once I run out. If I change my mind end up ordering again, I will come back and update my review!

As of late in the realm of skin care, I have been befuddled by barrier creams and serums. Up until a few months ago I wasn't even aware how important moisture barrier protection is to a good skin care routine. Sure it's another step to the skin care ritual, but it takes all of 30 seconds, so sign me up. Enter Skin and Lab Barrierderm Ringer Ampoule.From what I have learned, barrier serum should be applied after cleansing and toning, so that is what I did. This barrierderm complex is thin in consistency, has no color or odor and is quickly absorbed. It comes with an eye dropper but you have to be fast because it will absorb while you are trying to smooth it around. I found it easiest to do one area at a time.After application my skin was immediately dry with no residue, and definitely felt softer. This barrier ampoule is the perfect preparation for moisturizer and makeup.There are several ingredients in this complex that I had never heard of... Or Thought I had never heard of... For instance, Sydney Ringer. Well that's the guy who invented it but we know it better as sodium lactate. And Hyal-Veil complex is basically hyaluronic acid. It also contains panthenol and chlorella vulgaris extract. Between all those ingredients every concern is covered--stabilizing pH, soothing and calming, helping skin to repair itself, and most importantly, attracting and retaining moisture.I'm impressed by the ingredients in this barrier derm complex. It is selling for $22.99 at time of this review. It comes in a large 2.36 fluid ounce bottle which will last a good long time, and I think it is an excellent value.

As a woman of “a certain age” I guess it’s time to start taking care of what I’ve been given! I have pretty good skin overall, especially for an old lady of 54, but since I rarely wear makeup and avoid the sun like a good little vampire I think I’ve just been blessed with good genes!I normally prefer a pump dispenser to the ubiquitous “dropper” but at least this one seems to work pretty well. The serum is clear and thin with, literally, NO SCENT! Major happy dance just for that alone!I apply this after washing and toning my skin; I usually do a “drop” on each cheek and add more if/as needed. This product seems to glide on and soak right in - I don’t really notice any tackiness so, if there is any, it goes away quickly! I love being able to go right on to the next product (either another serum or straight to moisturizer).It’s hard to speak to the effectiveness because skincare takes time in general and, if you're already using the active ingredient(s), it’s hard to notice a difference in the way you look/feel. At the same time, if it’s new to you/your system, it usually takes a while for any real benefits to show up.If anything changes as time goes by I’ll update my review accordingly but, for now, 5 stars from me!Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!
