Dixie Divers Hookah Hose (5/16-inch) with 1ST (3/8-inch Male) and 2ND (9/16-inch Female) Stage Fittings for Scuba Diving Boat Botton Pool Cleaner Kayak Dive Snooba

I ordered three 20’ hoses, only one of the three had a hose protector as shown on both ends of these hoses, and the one that did - only had a single black protector on one end. The other two hoses arrived without any hose protectors at all.

Could not figure out what additional fittings I need for my project. Called the store in Florida and they showed me how to connect without additional fittings.

The hose seems to work well however the swivel at regulator end is pretty stiff... if they included an adapter to attach your regular (30”) regulator hose to the end of the 50’ or whatever length you get you would have two swiveling points and my reg hose swivels super easy. If only the hose swivel wasn’t so tight it would t be a big deal but I can’t even find an adapter to do like I said and rectify the issue. Cheapest hose is cheap for a reason I guess and I probably should have bought the brownies and only been out a little more but have several swivel fittings between me and my tank/first stage. If you are only gonna get a short 20’ hose for bottom cleaning or even bugging in shallow water probably be fine but don’t try and go longer or try for multiple hoses/regulators because without those qrs fittings that brownies uses your hoses twist and tangle horribly. I bought one 50’ hose and it’s been rough without swivels I can’t imagine adding another 50’ to my first stage for another diver just way too difficult to use. If someone at Dixie divers wants to address this issue and point me in the right direction as to a fitting or some other solution it would be helpful and also allow me to update my review and rating . Hope this helps others

Good quality breathing hose.

I bought this hose to build up a surface supplied air diving system for underwater pool repairs. I found adapters to connect the hose to standard 1/4" NPT quick disconnect plugs at other online scuba supply stores. My system works very well. This hose is just the right length for my pool application.

Great quality hose and fittings, hook right up to first and second stage easily. Add a little silicone grease rubbed into the threading and onto the O-rings before assembling the rig. Looks sturdy and professionally put together.
