I purchased this for my granddaughter because she wanted a new hobby so I thought maybe she would enjoy diamond painting. Well she loved it. I ended up buy her 2 more! She really liked this one because of the picture and the many colors.

Kit didn't have printed instruction sheet to know where to back stitch

I like everything about this diamond painting. Haven't finished it yet but had to write a good review. Love the sweet picture of the deer, the colors and the easy to read numbers and letters! Wish they were all that easy to read. Also like that there are no big blocks of the same color.

I bought this for my 9 yr old. Its a big hit and lots of fun.

This was my first stamped cross-stitch, and while it was a lot of fun to make, I was disappointed to see it looked nothing like the advertised photo. I was expecting it to look more stained glass, yeah nope. It was also a lot smaller than I thought it would be (the advertised photo makes it look like it's a huge wall tapestry). It was okay for the price.

The thread and canvas are very easy to work with.

This doesn't look exactly like the picture. The kit has 32 colors, which is a good number for a canvas this side. There is no backstitch so none of the edges are going to be very defined and sharp like the photo shows. If you want that look, you can go in with your own floss (or leftovers if any) and sketch out the outlines you want sharper with backstitch. This is the downside of kits like this. Very few stamped cross stitch companies do back stitch, so it's to be expected if it isn't one of the main "brands". I fully expected this so it wasn't really an issue.I like this kit because there is very little black (939). I've had a lot of these kits that are just a lot of black with the highlights stitched in other colors and they aren't that fun to do. This has some really pretty shades. The background is a little bit more green than blue, but still a pretty teal color. It's just brighter.
