The Art of Shaving After-Shave Balm

I’ve used dozens of fragrance free after shave products over the years, none with the soothing and lasting qualities I was searching for. I saw this product on Amazon while searching for a new fragrance free after shave product and like what I read and decided to give it a try. Bingo! Finally, a product that does everything it claims and then some. Only the recommended amount works wonders on my sensitive skin. I highly recommend this wonderful product.

I first used this when i was bought a gift pack that contained this after shave balm. I keep a full beard generally but shave my head. This stuff feels soooo good on my head. It leaves my scalp so soft and smooth. I used to never use moisturizers on my head after shaving because it seems that everything would break me out. Not this stuff! I NEVER break out from using this. While the product is "unscented" i think it has a very wonderful, but light scent. I love the smell of it. It almost reminds me of uncooked oatmeal and cinnamon. Again...its very light and smells clean. It does not feel greasy at all and soaks into your skin quickly. It is expensive but if you want to pamper yourself, try this stuff. You don't need much so that does help offset the price.

This After-Shave balm goes on like lotion but leaves your face super smooth and super clean! This particular one (that I got) is the unscented gray label one. I chose this one over the scented ones simply because I love the smell of my summer shaving cream and don't want to overpower or cover it up. Plus sometimes scents located around my nose can give me a headache if too strong. This stuff is convenient and easy going, which allows for a nice light business friendly overall smell.

This shave balm is wonderful for my skin. It keeps my skin from developing any type of rash or dryness. It is versatile in its performance and keeps my skinny looking and feeling fresh.

I have been using this after shave balm for many years and it's fantastic. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate me at all. It's not heavy and greasy and feel light on my skin. It's pricey but sometimes you need to spend money to protect your skin and slow aging.

I really like this after-shave balm - goes in smooth and soothes. I appreciated that the unscented is actually unscented. I hate the glass bottle - I feel like the spout for the lotion stops working at a period of time - doesn’t stop me from purchasing again I really wish it had a similar packaging to the shaving cream. The 1 oz bottles were similar to the shaving cream package - now I can’t seem to find them.

I bought this as a refill for the original one I had and this seems different even though the description is EXACTLY the same as the one I purchased before except I purchased the first one at the store in person. It still does the job of soothing my skin post shave and helping with razor burn but it isn't the same as the first time I purchased. They either changed the formula or this is a knock off. Differences I notice: 1. This one is unscented just like my first one. This one is truly unscented which is what you expect. The original one still had a vague smell (good smelling). This isn't an issue since I purchased unscented but it was the first thing that made me think it was different. 2. This one is much more watery than the first one. The first one I purchased was more of a lotion and this one is like they took that and watered it down. The result is I end up using more than I used to. This led me to think that maybe just they just changed the formula so they could have higher turnover from people using more. My first bottle lasted me over a year and this one will certainly no last that long. Another side effect of this is that nicks would stop bleeding and heal quicker with the thicker lotion and now they continue to bleed longer. 3. This one doesn't have any sort of numbing or tingle effect to it. The first one I bought I really liked because it had some sort of lanacane that would numb/tingle your skin just ever so slightly. This was really nice especially for areas around your mouth after you shave your mustache. It would stop the burn and give it a nice feel. This led me to believe that maybe this was a knock off. Overall it still does the same job of helping stop razor burn and if I tried it first like this I would probably be fine. Since I tried the first one from the store and liked it a lot better my next purchase will be from the store again. I gave it 3 stars because it does do what it says but I don't feel like it is the same experience as I had with the first bottle I bought.

I have been using this product for years now along side the unscented shaving oil and shaving cream When using according to instructions the product lasts for a long time and reduces shaving rash

Makes a big difference with razor burn. I’ve been using it for years. For me, it’s the balm that works the best and I’ve tried many. Yes it’s more expensive than many of the others but the quality and the fact that I don’t get razor burn and it doesn’t also sting makes it worth it. Plus a bottle lasts me a long time. Im a huge fan and my absolute preferred after shave balm for any skin areas.

Fantastic shave balm. This is a great balm for anyone who doesn’t like scents added. I use it after each shave with my DE and it soaks into the skin nice and does a great job of getting rid of irritation. Will buy again.
