NS1002 Flat-Panel Pool Solar Heater, Black

I wanted the pool water to be warmer than the sun by itself was doing. Installation was very easy and all necessary parts were included. Just a few minutes installing the heater, the outlet water was warmer immediately. I would recommend this heater to anyone.

This thing is worthless. It leaks every place it can and you could heat more water with a book of matches

Not a bad panel, doesn't raise the temperature alot as the water doesn't heat up enough going through the tubes (maybe compared to some of the home tubing people have made). We bought 2 and connected them together. always have leaking issues no matter how many clamps we put on the hose connections. Also use a separate pool pump as it took a lot of pressure off my sand filter. Expected maybe some better heat from it.

This was the project from hell but I finally got it up. I can't keep it from leaking but it doesn't leak to bad. I didn't use the supplied connections because I needed an elbow. I bought 2 and connected them to the auxillary pump. Does a great job, warming the pool. I accidentally poked a hole in one and used an auto flat repair string to fix it. Works like a charm.

Works very well. Excellent bargain. I notice q few degree increase in pool temp. Would need more than one of these for anything larger than 1000 gallons.

Cant really say or state how it heats. I can say it leaks like a siv. I am sure i could have gone to Home Depot and modified connections to stop the leaking but for the price i shouldnt have too. Cheaper black plastic solar mats work good for me.

Like the instructions show just move a few water lines, hose. Tighten them up and wait for the sun to do its job. Water isnt as freezing cold as it usually is.

It was easy to install. It was the cheapest that I can find for its size and it has pretty good suction with the correct hoses. The hoses it came with don’t go well
