I'm unsure what combination of materials lead to other users having loose mounts, but this has been rock solid with or without a cage around my Insta360 X5. It's made to tight tolerances and is very easy to attach and detach. Really nice fit and finish. Cheaper than the "official" mount, but so much better. And the functionality of the GoPro mount to fold away if using a tripod screw is great if you need to mount in various places. There just isn't much to complain about. Nearly perfect for what it's designed to do.

Made the mistake of ordering the Wrong one as that version of this mount doesn't have folding legs. This is what Insta should have made their QR Like, easy to remove the camera without the need to pry it off. The buttons are simple an smooth to push in an remove the Action cam. All in All a Solid product, this being my first one from this brand

The quality of this reasonably priced accessory has totally and completly exceeded my expectations for reliability, construction, and fitment. The magnet strength is very good A+ level, and it won't come off unless you squeeze the tabs. I've tried to pull it, yank it and was have zero success until I squeezed the tabs on this accessory. I again have the Insta 360 X5, and thought the price point was very reasonable, and will buy more as a backup just in case. So far, ....so good! :)

Item arrived in small box, with wrench and 1/4-20 attachment. However item does not securely click into Insta360 Ace Pro 2 base, thus rendering high risk of loosing camera.

Clicks together easily, but the connection is a little jiggly.

I purchased one of these to save money over the Insta360 version (which I have 3 of). In addition to being less expensive, it is smaller, lighter, and grips the camera more securely resulting in less wobble. Highly recommended.

I like it so far. It's magnetic from the base that you connect to your device and the mounting base. Sturdy made all metal. Easy push clips to remove device from base mount. Minimal size nothing bulky. Only thing I would advise is after each use on a bike or something with vibration make sure the screw at the bottom that holds onto your device is tight. Other wise it's a excellent product!
