This is one sharp knife!
My old bird's beak knife finally gave up the ghost so I bought this one. It was not cheap but it was far less expensive than some. It arrived very nicely packaged in a fitted box. It would actually make a nice little gift for a serious home cook!It is sharp. Really sharp. Hang onto the little plastic protector for the point if you can. I was⁰h my knife, dry it, then put the plastic back on the point before I hang it on my magnetic knife rack.I was a bit surprised at how much longer the blade is on this one compared to my old bird's beak knife. I wondered how well it would work because of the longer, narrower blade. I was pleased to find that it works much better than the shorter one. It's really easy to peel an apple, cut it in half, then cut the core out. This knife is a pleasure to use.

Good Knife; No Sheath
Had this for a while now, and it is probably my second favorite knife after my chef's knife. Comes in a beautiful case. I only wish it came with it's own plastic sheath or something so I can put it in the drawer with my other knives. I use it at least three times a week and it hasn't shown any signs of breaking or loosening. I have fairly small hands and it is pretty perfect for me to grip it; someone with larger hands might have some trouble. It is a little hard to sharpen, but I'm going to chalk that up to user inexperience at sharpening knives and not the knife itself.

paring knife
It is a nice knife, a little bigger then what I wanted or expected but it does work well.

Great knife and reasonable price
This is a very nice knife, razor sharp and well made

Sharp not really
It isn't very sharp at all and it hurts your hand because you have to apply so much pressure to get it to work.

Too Long - 4” instead of 2.5”
I *love* my bird’s beak knife, so I bought this one for my brother to introduce him to the world of bird beak knives. The description says it is 2.5”, but as you can see by the pic, it is a generous 4”. That is WAY too big to be effective in hulking strawberries, cutting eyes and bad spots from root veggies, etc.I should note that the knife itself is well made for the price, and it is nice and sharp. It’s just unfortunate that the description was so off. I will be returning it.

Excellent
I love the inside curve. This knife is perfect for coring apples and doing fine cuts, not for use on a cutting board. It has the great feel of a fine knife.
