ASUS is a Great chromebook
Needed to purchase a new chromebook as my older one battery died. Purchased ASUS 15.6 HD Screen as it is a good brand for Chromebooks which I had a previously one. Recommend for computer needs.

Solid laptop, But ...
Solid laptop. Fast and easy to set-up, configure, and use. Feels good in your hands.BUT.. BIG AS A HOUSE. Best for desktop replacement, but so so much as portable.

Easy to use
Works great, very easy to set up and easy to use. Got it for work to have something to use for streaming services at night. Has good clear picture and good sound.

Love my laptop!!
Omg I absolutely LOVE my laptop. Haven't really finished set up and all that but it's BEAUTIFUL and shipping was great!! Will update once I start using it more!

Too many compromises; spend a few bucks more for a better device
The plastic shell feels surprisingly cheap and shoddy. The device is heavier than it should be for its size, and it's unnecessarily thick as well. The Celeron processor is anything but performant and ends up underpowered, even for a Chromebook. As others have indicated in their reviews, the WiFi is poor and does not hold signal in areas where even devices with chip antennas on them can work well.I would not recommend this. In fact, I'm looking to return it. Its price point was attractive, but it still doesn't seem to be a good value after about a week of working with it.

Less usable than I had hoped ...
I hoped to use this device more than I do. It works okay for Google functions - gmail, et al. It is difficult to find apps that really leverage the screen real estate. The device works fairly well as a front-end to a remote PC and slightly less well as a front-end to Microsoft 365 Apps. Order a USB light. The keyboard lacks back-lighting.
