Very hard and nasty taste. My cat won’t eat it even if crushed and put in food he loves. Wont eat the food. Very expensive and waste of money!

So far for this past few days my cat won’t try them. I’ll keep trying. She loves temptations and it’s hard to switch to something else.

UPDATE to Original Review:Last week I was sorting through some products we'd previously tried for our kitties. I thought I would try one more time to see if my cats might like these treats. I do want to preface this by saying that I had previously tried giving these treats to both of our cats several times with absolutely zero interest on either of their parts. Well, surprise, surprise our one cat devoured the treats and asked for more! I do not know what happened to change his mind but I did try the treats again a few more times throughout this past week and only one time my cat showed no interest. He might have been full; also, sometimes with cats (as with other animals and even people) I've noticed that if they don't have a nutritional need they won't eat something. Again today my cat was looking for something to eat in the kitchen and I put one of the treats in front of him and he ate it right up with gusto! Our other cat has still not really been interested in eating the treats but that's OK.Ultimately, I thought it important to return here and describe what happened with our cat. Maybe cats in general are just finicky but if your cat(s) doesn't seem to take to these initially - perhaps try another time or two or three and see if it changes. I am glad that I thought to try them again and now I would recommend these kidney-friendly cat treats.I especially appreciate that they have stayed fresh inside the resealable bag for all this time.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Sadly neither of my two cats will eat these. Not only will they not eat them; they stay far away from them.I tried a few different times on different days thinking maybe they weren't in the mood or weren't hungry; but, every time I tried the cats wouldn't go near them after sniffing them.Very disappointing.Perhaps some other cats might like the flavor but I can't give these greater than one star because they are useless if my cats refuse them.As far as appearance goes - they appear fresh and untainted.That's the best I can rate these.

No return policy, BEWARE. This product is cut into very small squares which are too hard to break apart and oo hard to eat. I tried moistening. The description all but assured that cats love it. Mine didn't. Kindly refund the money in good faith. I will donate it to a shelter. Maybe it will be eaten there.

Item contents were almost powder and what wasn’t powder was clumped together and complete non-edible for my cat.

We were very excited to try this treat option for our cat with kidney disease. Unfortunately, it was a big miss for our cat boy. He wouldn’t touch it, dry or rehydrated. Our other cat without kidney disease wouldn’t eat it either.

My cat eats almost ANYTHING and she won't eat these. I think it is only because they are too hard and too big. She was clearly interested at first and took one and tried to eat it but then she dropped it back out of her mouth. I broke it into two pieces so it was smaller but she wouldn't take it. The smell is appealing but it is just too hard for her. The instructions do say that you can soak it in water to make it softer. But that is just too inconvenient for me. That makes these treats very difficult for me to actually give to my cat. I haven't tried soaking them yet so I don't know if that would work. I'm guessing it might because she was interested in the smell.The ingredients of these are good so I am sad that they are not working for my cat. I will keep trying. If I have any major breakthroughs I will update my review. But for now they are three stars because of the size and the extra work to make them edible for my cat.

I originally got these for my senior kitty to help with any potential kidney problems. He is not a fussy eater and will eat just about anything. He refused to eat these so I tried others in my household. The best that I got was a cat put it in his mouth and then spit it out. I understand that cats have different tastes so if I had a couple of cats like these I would have been happy, but none of my cats will eat these. These don’t smell like tuna to me which is the second ingredient listed. Ingredients seem okay and I love that this product is made in the US but sadly, my household says ‘no’ to these treats. I will try mixing it in their regular food so I don’t waste them.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function.Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product.Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else.One star-Nope.
