A very handy way to add a shelf to your slatwall
The slatwall system is so flexible and versatile. It has almost all the hooks and hangers available that you could ever need. However, when it comes to shelves for the system, you mostly only have one option: Buy shelf brackets and make your own shelves. This works fine, except a shelf made that way is much larger than you need if you are just trying to store small items. There are also wire shelves available that are small, but so many things fall through them that they only work for very specific needs.Enter this product. These shelves are about the most minimal design you can imagine. They do not take up a lot of vertical space, unlike the shelf brackets, and still give plenty of space for storing small items like tape measures, squares, and small hand tools. They are sturdy and easy to install. They are also ferrous, which means that magnets will stick to them. This is amazingly handy and allows you to store things like pen magnets to them by hanging them from under the shelf. Anything magnetic can find a home on or under this shelf. The only knock against these shelves, and the reason it loses a star in my review, is the price. Like everything "slatwall", these shelves are spendy. They seem very expensive, in fact, for what you get. However, if you are already invested in the Slatwall system, these shelves offer a unique and handy storage solution.

Decent shelf
I have a lot of slatwall in my shop and am always looking for things to help organize it. This shelf is a nice size and easy to move around. It holds pretty firmly just slipping it in. I like that it has screw holes so that I can lock it in place once I have it's (semi) permanent location figured out. I really like slatwall, but I have a tendency to bump things and knock them flying if they're not secured. I've had to drill my own holes in other shelves and that messes up the finish. Speaking of finish, the black powder coating looks nice and has a bit of texture that should make it stand up to shop use. I like that it has a small lip on it to keep items on it.

sturdy! Make sure you have high quality slat wall for it!
So we have two slat walls, one is our shed that is a plastic mold form and this shelf was too heavy for it (honestly it is very limited what works on that wall) In our makerspace we have a nice beefy slatwall that is made of think material and anchored to the studs. This shelf in rock solid on it even with a good amount of weight on it! Extremely happy that we added this!

Heavy duty and sturdy shelves.
This is great and really well built. It hangs fine. It's a little bit heavy but that's because it's built very sturdy. The metal is nice and there were no blemishes or imperfections. Highly recommend!

has a nice ridge and good for small items
Most of the slatwall shelves I have are flat so I was on the lookout for something that had a ridge to prevent some items from rolling/slipping off of the shelf, so this fit the bill. It is not the most rigid shelf—and has some flex—so it would not be great for heavy things, but has worked well for my purposes.

Sturdy Slatwall Shelf
I have a slatwall by the self-serve dog wash for brushes, combs, etc. for purchase. Before I got this shelf, I had to put the shampoo bottles for sale on a table as I couldn't hang them up, but this works perfectly. I especially like the lip on the shelf so there's no chance of them falling off by curious "little hands". Very sturdy metal shelf. It made my day!

Works Great
Very solid shelf that fits easily in my PVC slatwall in my workshop. I currently have a variety of small tools like tape measures and other similar sized items and it works great, but it is solid enough it would easily handle heavier items. Installation is as easy as any other universal slatwall product.
