Awesome experience, makes me want to type on it and customize it
I have never liked most of the laptop or short travel keyboard I have used. They were so cramped and very uncomfortable to type on. This Keychron V6 Max mechanical Keyboard is awesome. Customizable lighting, from colors to patterns, and a good heavy feel to it. The keyboard doesn't feel like it will rattle away from you as you type on it. The brown tactile keys that I bought feel great without being louder than the laptop keyboard I had. The mechanical feel is just theraputic and the key travel isn't as much as I remembered the cheap one I grew up with 15-20 years ago. Wish I would have bought one before. I plan to use it for photo editing and light coding. The full 102+ key keyboard layout is awesome and spacious. the laptop key boards aren't comfortable to type on in the lap, cuz you gotta balance it all, the stand alone keys are much better. Full sized keys helps with the typing experience. I also had a BT logitech k380 before and it had very stiff keys, were these just fall at the right pressure. Because it is hot key swapable and customizable, in both layout and the type of keys after the purchase, I look forward to rearranging some keys. I came from a Windows and moving to a mac so somethings aren't in the right spot lol. The brown keys are not loud by any stretch, I wonder what the banana (clicky) keys feel like, but the I am glad I did not get the red (linear) keys. I like the tactile feel for sure. Let's me know I got the key pressed without having to slam it down all the way. It is expensive, but it works and for the right computer experience (mechanical keyboard) then it is worth it. A note on the keys, the back light does not shine thru the key itself, but around the keys. The white paint on the dark keys with a big monitor in front of you and the back light on and you won't have a problem, but with a laptop only screen high up on a stand using BT? Idk, not my use case, but I imagine it would not be as easy, just an fyi, only con I could think of.

Crazy good!
I’m new to the mechanical keyboard world so I was very overwhelmed when I started looking at all the various options and trying to figure out the terminology as well as how the different switches feel and sound. This keyboard was for my wife who types a lot and really wanted a keyboard that was going to be closer to the experience of typing on an old school typewriter with heavier tactile key presses and the clack of the keys. She also wanted a keyboard that was full sized since that is what she is already so used to.The Keychron V6 Max with Gateron Banana Switches checked all the boxes, but I was still hesitant simply because I’ve always bought the simple and cheap keyboards like Logitech’s MK series which you get a keyboard AND a mouse for $30-50. Spending $120 on just a keyboard seemed downright outrageous. That is until I had this keyboard in my hands. Not only did it check all the required boxes, but once I got my hands on the keyboard it created new checkboxes that are now requirements for any keyboard that comes after.Pros: Insane build qualityIncredible sound and feelEasy to customizeExcellent web-based softwareGreat connectivity optionsFantastic battery lifeBright backlight with lots of RGB customizationsExtremely responsiveExcellent value for the moneyCons: Not buying this soonerI joke, but seriously I currently have no cons, fantastic product!

Incredible keyboard
There are no words in the English language that will properly describe the beautiful feel and sound of the keys and switches on this keyboard. I went with the Gateron Banana switches, which sound so damn good, so creamy and quiet. I have tried various kinds of keyboards and switches over the years, and these are definitely the best out there, especially since it is hotswappable (which means you can change out the switches!). And the price just makes it even better. The only qualm I have with it, is that I wish there were actual dedicated media keys beyond the volumne knob, but that's a minor gripe.I whole heartedly recommend this keyboard if you are shopping around for one!

Almost perfect: lights do not shine through keycaps
Firstly, this keyboard looks, feels and sounds amazing. The brown switches are satisfying and the full-sized-ness fits most of my needs. I'm a power user and if I could I would use just the keyboard for all my needs. This keyboard comes pretty close.Gripes:1. My biggest issue with this keyboard is that the backlight doesn't shine through the keys preventing me from using this keyboard at night. Oversight on such a pricey product.2. Being a power user I am missing a button next to Right CTRL to do a right click.3. Programming buttons is not as easy as they say.4. The first time I got this keyboard the Mac/Win switch did not work which took me a good week to troubleshoot since I couldn't imagine it was a faulty switch (I know, my fault). Luckily Amazon remedied it replaced the keyboard with a working switch.

Great keyboard and puts the old ones I used to shame.
I adore this keyboard!! After years of purchasing Logitech keyboards that break without a year or so (usually one key starts sticking), I decided to try this mechanical one. I’ve been using it for 5+ months and have had no issues. It’s sturdy & quiet, the lights are fun & I love the look & feel of it. The keys don’t feel cheap or wobbly at all. It will die on you without any notice, but that’s not a problem for me bc I have a charging cable I can plug it into easily available. I would 100% recommend this keyboard and plan to get one for my son soon.

Main Functionality is Broken - Common Issue
Sticky keys - the L and T double-type all the time. Other than that, it's a fantastic keyboard but when the main functionality of the keyboard is broken, then it's a garbage product. It seems to be a common issue if you look online.

Love it
For my second Keychron keyboard. Love it. I like the Pro Switch that makes it quiet. Great quality, weight of the keyboard and just the feel. Always was a basic keyboard type of person but when I tried this keyboard for the first time I feel in love. Can't go back to the regular cheap ones. Great starter for someone looking to get into the custom keyboards. Highly Recommend this item.
