These glasses are well made but are blurry off center. Apparently this is a problem with multifocal progressive glasses, and it leads me to feel dizzy. Missfive bifocal readers eyeglasses work better for me, because they remain in focus when I turn my head right or left while looking in the same place. This does not cause dizziness. The bifocal readers are good for up close reading and distance viewing. For computer work and meals--viewing at an intermediate distance--I keep single vision glasses near my computer and the kitchen table. The 5 star rating above applies to the bifocal readers that Missfive generously sent me to replace the progressives. They have impressive quality and bear the CE mark for quality assurance.

These glasses age a 10. They are what I've been looking for. Quality & price. Seems a number of items I purchase fall a little short of a 5 star even the ones I keep. I will definitely purchase again.

So far, these are the best reading glasses I found on Amazon. There’s no magnification on top so you can wear them constantly without the need to take them off to see distance. I only wish they weren’t progressive and just bifocal since the middle area provides unnecessary magnification and serves no purpose other than causing fatigue from prolonged use, hence the deduction of a star. Otherwise, these are very practical and good to own.

Very high quality, with the close magnification, and the distance vision at no magnification it workswell for the cataract patient who has the distance vision correction.

When your head is directly square to what you are looking at the image is sharp, but if you turn your head or shift your eyes slightly in either direction, the image degrades. It seems that the magnification is only in the center of the lenses.This makes these glasses difficult to wear, as you have to keep moving your head side to side to keep things in focus as well as moving your head up and down to focus for different distances.Takes a little too much effort.

The sides of the lenses do not allow you to see clearly so forget about periphery vision. So you basically have to turn your head to from side to side to read a book instead of just being able to follow the script with your eyes. These could have been a lot better if it wasn't for that issue.

To be fair, there is much to like about these glasses. I love the stye and frame color, they fit me nicely, they feel good on me, the lenses are quality progressive with the right corrections in each zone, but they are not really blue-blocking, but try to just reflect blue light, and it doesn't really work; if I stand in front of my bathroom mirror and look up at the lights, I see two sets of lights, one set is slightly yellowed, and another set totally blue! That proves blue light is going into my eyes through the glasses. Moreover, when I stand where there is light coming from behind me, I see all blue, because they are reflecting blue light into my eyes! I've seen this effect before when I paid for prescription glasses with a "blue-light blocking coating", which was this same blue-light reflecting coating that doesn't really work. I threw those expensive prescription glasses in the garbage because of that. In some situations they do reduce the blue light, but in some situations they actually increase the blue light. It's too bad, because otherwise I love these glasses. In fact I give then 4 stars, because they are usable, because I really don't need the blue blocking, but just prefer true amber-tinted, real blue-filtering lenses in some situations.

These are very handy reading glasses. I like that they are good for near and far and that they're not bifocals. The only thing I don't like about them is the nose piece catches my hair so that I can't slide my glasses onto the top of my head when I'm not using them I get caught in my hair. Otherwise they're great, I'll probably get more.

Recently had an eye examination and was told I need 1.5 magnification reading glasses. Ordered these from Amazon because I could find anything locally that looked decent. Very happy with the fit, style and most importantly, with the clarity of what I am reading. Never realized hiw much I was struggling to see when I read until I put these on to read. So happy with the experience and with these glasses. Definitely recommended if your in need of reading glasses and don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on progressive lenses simply for reading.
