UDC Parts Mulching Gator Blade

Item arrived and with out damage, what can I say, they are mower blades

OMG. What a difference these blades make. I have a 17 Y/O 42” riding mower (picture) and put these blades on it. It’s like going from a chainsaw to mowing with a Rolls. YES, it is that dramatic. I started the mower after changing the blades and immediately noticed the sound difference. I engaged the belt, mowed a few feet and thought the belt had not engaged the blades. So I disengaged, backed up and noticed that the lawn was perfectly cut. I engaged the blades again and listed carefully to the smooth sound coming from the blades. It was a very soft hum. Like a low whisper. The before and after difference is astonishing. The mulching action with these blades completely disintegrate the grass clipping. Forget bagging or re mowing to get rid of the clipping-pile rows. There are no clippings left! Seriously, these Gator style blades work crazy amazing. They fit my 42” deck perfectly, are extremely quiet, ( Hum rather that a roar) lift the grass almos like a vacuum. I will never use another blade again. A couple of caveats, they suck like you are mowing with a vacuum. A sort of “Flowbee” for the lawn. For that reason. Do not run over any objects, like a garden hose because it will destroy it. The second one is it will suck sand/dirt if you run over some. Yes, I recommend them, will buy them again, and would give them as a gift. Absolutely amazing blades! Great product, price, quality, performance, and function at an extremely low noise level. Get them! lol

These blades are direct OEM replacements. If not better than OEM. They feel slightly heavier than stock blades and mount just as easy to the mower. These were much cheaper than the big box store blades and perform well.

I suppose most importantly is that they work great! I replaced my old blades (and they weren't that old or dull) with these and I was impressed with how much better they cut & mulched the grass. I was able to drop my deck one additional notch with great results. Next I have to say how impressed I am with their customer service. I've seen a 50/50 split on internet blogs about using this type of blade with a mulch kit. I thought the best thing to do was go to the manufacturer for advice. I contacted the 3 most know suppliers with my questions, twice , and didn't get a single reply. So when I sent the same question to UDC Parts, I received an answer within 12 hours easily. Then I had a different question about something else and AGAIN, UDC responded QUICKLY. The quality of these blades is outstanding. You know it's a "guy thing" where when you buy tools and accessories you come to realize what quality is. To top things off, their prices are very reasonable especially considering all the other pluses. I will always be a loyal UDC custom for my future needs!
