I think that if the founder of medical textbooks and master clinician and pathologist Dr. William Osler studied this book , he would award the full 5 stars. This is a master work written for two purposes:1. As reference work for clinicians interested in a specific disease2. But more vitally, a master teacher speaking to all who are passionate to learn pathology.He uses his 31 years as a teacher to explain pathology in both cellular and molecular terms as known in 2023. I can sense his voice in the detailed and logical explanations of both normal and disease manifestations of the full array of the ailments of mankind.I recommend reading this text from page 1 to page 921 if you wish to gain a full comprehension of his view of the realm of pathology.I think this work and the 2023 edition of Robbins Pathology are complementary texts that are both beautifully done and worthy of the greatest respect.Thomas Weisman MDTucson, Arizona
