Q: Can it be made w/ a stevia/erythritol blend instead of sugar. It would probably need a thickener; what would be best?

Make this with sugar. Regular sugar. Won't work with other sweeteners.

Q: Will it change the taste if I prepare this using a water bath canning method?

I have always sealed this with a water bath canner. Some jars I give away or refrigerate and they taste the same to me. Just plain yummy.

Q: Can you use if expired?

Here is what I think - since it is boiled together and there is lots of sugar, I would think it would be ok. It just might not be as good as it usually is. It is possible that I have used some expired ones... I have used it for years and years.

Q: Are these non gmo and organic? What country are they sourced from?

The oranges come from Spain but there is no indication on the can that they are non GMO or Organic We have used this product for more than 30 years in preference to purchasing ready made - less sugar
