I recently purchased this outstanding item in the health and beauty category, and I couldn't be more pleased.The packaging was exceptional, showcasing great care from start to finish. The product arrived in a substantial 16 oz amber bottle, securely housed in a high-quality cardboard presentation box that proudly displayed the company name and product features—definitely not a flimsy box!Inside, the bottle was cradled in a custom styrofoam mold, ensuring it arrived safely. I also appreciated the thoughtful design of the cap, which includes a built-in stopper to help manage any gooey drips that can occur with this type of product.The castor oil itself is 100% pure and fresh, with no unpleasant odors whatsoever.I wanted to share a little of where I'm at in using thiscastor oil, and what I have been doing.I was born with thick naturally curly hair but with natural aging and life stresses, I was experiencing some hair loss.I took a smaller amber color bottle with a dropper and use that to apply this castor oil directly on my scalp.You can use a previous health product bottle and clean it well. Boil the bottle, not the dropper.A drop of dishsoap thru the dropper and rinsed well is suffice.You can also use a blue bottle.I like to recycle when, and if I can, within reason. You can also purchase new bottles here on Amazon, and many other market shopping sites.Do not use a clear bottle as this may compromise the quality of this oil.Thats why they use an amber bottle.This purchase does come in a large bottle and I find it easier to manage in a smaller bottle. Totally not necessary, but be smart if you also choose to do this and protect the quality of this oil and yourself.Some people only use it for their hair ends and that's cool too, but I go directly to the hair growth spot and use my fingers to massage it well into my scalp. Massaging your scalp also helps with circulation. Bonus.You can then leave it til your next shampoo, or use a shower cap or warm towel and leave it on for a time and then shampoo it out. Base this on how much you applied, hair thickness and your own preference.I will state that you should NEVER put a dry towel in the microwave. Wet it, wring it out, then microwave it in 20-30 seconds increments. Wet fabric gets very hot in a microwave very fast, so please be careful. Or better, put it in a dryer.As for the oil application process, you can't do this wrong.I also apply it to my eyebrows ( that silly thin brow craze) and on my eyelashes.My lashes have seen the most benefit so far.Along with a hair and skin supplement in the last 2 months alone my hair has grown 2 inches. No joke.I also do not use any heat on my hair and I use a good quality shampoo and conditioner.Please also be aware of hair bands and clips as these can put stress on your hair.I would suggest you do a castor oil scalp treatment 2-3x's a week. Give it time. I know if you do this , you will see a noticeable difference in a couple of months.I will also add that you can thin out the castor oil You can use lighter oils such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, or sweet almond oil to thin out castor oil for application on your skin or hair. Mixing one part castor oil with two parts of a lighter oil can help make it easier to apply.You can use castor oil for many purposes. Do some research.This is just my current preferred use and Im very pleased with this castor oil and I have no negative responses to the quality, packaging, and overall product.In conclusion, it's clear that this company takes immense pride in their product, and I truly appreciate the integrity they demonstrate throughout the entire process. My favorite castor oil! Little goes a long way and I use this for my skin as a moisturizer, it helps with acne, and my hair. It has even helped a bit on my stretch marks!

I love, love, love this castor oil. I have purchased 4 different brands and this product is by far the best. No horrid smell like other oils and the quality means less goes a long way. I love the way this oil absorbed quickly into my skin leaving my skin soft not oily. I use the oil on my body, face and hair and no longer fall for the gimmicks with expensive lotions and potions, one bottle every few months keeps my skin healthy.

I did (a little) research before choosing the Yoken brand and this product seems to meet the criteria needed for a high quality castor oil. I am using it by itself on various parts of my body (hairlashes, hands, liver region) and mixed with jojoba oil and franckincense for facial moisturizer. It is not too thick and smooths on the skin nicely. I have not used it in my hair -- seems like any castor oil would be too thick for my hair.Things to note:1. I gave it a "4" because it smells a little "peanutty". That may be fine--I did look that up. But I wanted to ask Yoken directly. The problem was I couldn't find any "contact" information anywhere. I still would love to hear from them.2. I have used other castor oil that was thicker. I also wonder if that is an issue.

This is the only castor oil I buy, love the bottle size you get for the price! This castor oil has transformed my neck and face, literally natures Botox!! No more wrinkles and creases in my neck! My face is back to being soft like it was in my teens! I use it as a carrier for my essential oils because it penetrates up to 6 inches into the body! Not to mention I slather my belly button and tummy with it for menstrual cramps and constipation!

Wonderful castor oil. This is a great deal. For the price the amount is huge. I did not realize how big the bottle would be. So glad that it has a pump to use with it. Nice and thick, neutral scent. Being EWG certified means that it is safe and healthy to use.
