Use these on our trailers at our commercial welding shop.They are plugged in/out daily and have had no issues. Significantly better design than the old style with just the clamp for the cable pass through.

Purchased this 7 pin model to pair with the Nilight 48”/49” LED Tailgate Light Strip 90 LED Red/White for Running Light Brake / Turn Signal / Reverse Light I purchased from Amazon as well. I needed this option to be able to access the rear backup light wire that was not attached to the hitch plug (4 pin connector). Easy to cut off the 4 pin connector and to attach the wires to the color ID’d pins on the new connector. Plugged in and bam! It works perfectly.

It was just what I needed and is higher quality than I was expecting. Easy to install and I like the way it seals around the wire.

I don't usually praise things, but this plug kit is really nice. First off, it came in a sturdy little manufacturers box - well packaged, not just sealed in a plastic bag. Second, the instructions were well written and complete, they even made the distinction between a Utility Trailer type 7-Way, and an RV Trailer 7-Way. Lastly, the plug is well made with a nice heavy plastic housing, an allen screw to lock the Terminal Assembly into the housing, and a gland-type seal to secure around the cable. They even included the allen-key! Nice Stuff.
