2024 Maps Updated 86271 0E076 Navigation GPS SD Card Compatible with Toyota Prius 4 Runner Sync USA/Canada Maps

Dealer wanted about $300 to update. This was simple install and updated our old gps maps, works great

I have a 2014 Camry. The current installed map card is from 2018, I thought it was time for an upgraded version. I did the upgrade to the 2018 card about 5 years ago, I recall that the upgrade ran for about 20-30 minutes. I followed the steps (turn off engine, insert new card, turn on engine, wait).The "software update" screen appeared as expected. So far so good. I waited. After 1 hour the screen had not budged from what it shown in the screenshot. Not good. I tried other functions, the radio worked, even the Navigation worked even though the software update had not completed. I gave up on it.I turned off the motor, re-installed the 2018 map card, and turned the motor back on. No problems, all functions still work including Navigation. The "software update" screen did not re-appear indicating that the software update from the new card did not complete. Map Info shows that it's still using the 2018 version.I bought this card based upon it being the lowest price for the 2024 map data. It seems that it was not a good decision. I'm returning it.

Easy-to-follow instructions. Popped this into our 2018 RAV-4 Hybrid card slot and Bingo!, maps were updated in no time flat. Probably a fraction of what it would cost to have the dealer do this.
