Great dome map LED reading lamp! Fit perfectly. Wish the had more colors! But its an old truck so the matching colors is necessary because it works perfectly! Price was good too. Way cheaper than the dealership!!

It was a perfect fit for my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. The color match is excellent. The problem with the old one was that the original style bulbs melted the housing. I am hoping the LED upgrade will be cooler. These lights have not worked ever since I bought the truck in 2014. BTW to remove the lenses, you MUST take them out at the pivot point first. Use a pick tool or very small screwdriver and pop them out one side at a time to access the removal screws (t20 bit) that hides under the lenses. The front clips come out just fine. Leave the original rear clips in the truck and just unscrew the clips from the new one and chuck them in the trash the old ones that remained in the truck will thread on the new screws just fine, or use the old screws. The reason for leaving the old ones in is that they fit into a plastic housing and they are in there so solid you will likely tear apart the plastic housing to get them out and now have another part to replace unnecessarily. Trust me,,, just use the old clips. The trip computer/compass portion comes out of the old unit with 4 Phillips head screws. Super easy, just don’t over tighten them.

This fit perfectly in my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. The computer display came out of my previous console using only four screws and was very easy to install in the new one. Total installation time only took me 10 minutes.

Fit and finish was great on tje main piece. Took the lenses off to change to leds I already had and both lenses broke going back on. The led bulbs I had where not as bright as the ones that came with it. The piece and the led lights in this are still a great value but Id buy a set of mopar lenses before hand if you ever have to change the bulbs youll need new lenses but the bulbs they come with are nice and bright.

initially I had concerns that this was not a match because the button did not appear to match. It turned out appearance is in fact different but a perfect match. I have a 2006 Ram 2500 that the old button literally fell out. You do have to take the plastic overhead console out to change the wiring harness for the map lights, that was easy with the exception of the console cover being brittle. I have been swapping all lights in all of our vehicles out from the old bulbs to new LED lights and what a huge difference it has made. The old bulbs are dim and have gotten hot over the years, evidence by burn marks on the plastic inside/near the bulbs.

I was trying in to replace the overhead console lamps with LED bulbs. As careful as I was, the old plastic was brittle and one of the hinge pins for the lense cover broke off. I bought this unit as a replacement. I have been pleased with the quality and color match of this unit. It looks and works great.

This Overhead Console over-all was just OK. The only great thing I can say about this product are the LED lamps. They are extraordinarily bright as compared to the factory bullet bulbs. The greatness ends there. The plastic console housing feels light and brittle. The lenses are made with cheap plastic and the pivot arms broke off on one of them during installation. I had to use the original lenses from my old console that fit perfectly. The metal inserts to hold the front of the console had wings that did not extend out wide enough to make a tight grip from the console to the ceiling. And finally, the wiring was changed where I cannot individually turn on either spotlight. I have to roll the thumb wheel on the dash to turn on all of the cabin lights and then I can selectively turn each spotlight off or on. The original console, I could turn on either light at anytime without rolling the thumb wheel first. I was disappointed at the material quality but the fit seemed perfect. I would not recommend buying this product.
