Brother SE630 Sewing and Embroidery Machine with Sew Smart LCD, Recertified

I was looking for a new sewing machine since my old one was almost 30 years old, but I didn't want to drop over $500 for a bunch of accessories I didn't need.At first, I was skeptical of buying a refurbished item that wasn't from the manufacturer themselves; however, I was very pleasantly surprised upon opening this. It looked brand new, came with all of the accessories, and had little-to-no learning curve whatsoever.The quality overall is very good, the stitches are beautiful, never skipping a stitch. And IT THREADS ITSELF!!!Overall, this machine is very fool-proof and well worth it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:LOVE my embroidery machine, I’ve been digitizing my own designs and designing shirts and such Such an amazing product, get this one to start and then go to the bigger on if you like, because it’s a commitment for time

Haven’t had it long yet but i really enjoy it, if anything changes my mind about the 5 star review i’ll come back and edit the review. So far it’s been very nice, easy to use and anything that i have found confusing has an animated instruction built into the machine to walk you through everything from loading the bobbin to using different stitches. haven’t used the embroidery part yet but will soon :)

I have used usha machine in India. But this machine, is amazing! Much less sound, smooth and will stopp if your thread gets jumbled, while I was sewing a jean pant hem. Its needle is to be taken care of while usingg it for those kind of stitching (jeans sew at hemming and folding. My needle got bent. The auto threading wont work then. Apart from that its a very nice. machine. the only thing is they have not given the software to upload a new design of my will to upload and use, since it requires a software to convert jpg format of image to pes format. I wanted to embroider small pieces from the designs I liked. But that cant be done. Software separately is costly. So rather would have bought a sewing embroidery machine with an added software version machine. For now its good as a sewing machine with all the different kinds of stitch options though.

I am very happy with the machine. It is well made and very attractive. The manual is clearly written and I have made several items so far.

Was a gift for my granddaughter she is loving the machine so far
