Cupid and Psyche Bicycle Playing Cards - 2 Deck Set with Exclusive Art - Ideal for Fans of Mythology and Timeless Love Stories

I've been needing some themed playing cards. These ones are very subtly themed for the Greek god cupid. The pastel colors are amazing, and the face cards very appealing. I really enjoy having different options for the cards that I play with when having friends over for poker. These cards have received praise from almost everyone that has played with them.Nice cards, decent price, highest of quality.

I absolutely love these cards! I collect cards and these check almost all my boxes, plus extra! What I love to see in a deck of cards is unique backs, unique/custom faces, unique/custom custom pips, beautiful cards, and a nice linen finish. These cards have all of these except the unique pips, BUT they have fully illustrated cards on virtually every single card!! Absolutely beautiful that they have fully illustrated cards, and the illustrations are absolutely beautiful as well. And only $12.50/deck?? Can't say how thrilled I am with these decks.

At first we all were afraid to play cards with these as they were so beautiful. We even were debating not opening them at one point. But, we caved and did it. These cards are absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend them. The numbers are still easy to read and the designs are not distracting at all. These cards are worth the money.

My review will include a collector's perspective, which may include more info and higher standards than if you're a casual card player. I own several decks produced by PlayingCardDecks and the Cupid and Psyche deck set is among the nicest I've seen from them. These are matching (but not identical) decks with a transformation theme, which means that the cards from 2 through 9 have the correct number of pips, but they are cleverly hidden and/or inserted into each card's unique artwork. The decks have an excellent feel and thickness, with USPCC's air-cushion finish. The matching two-way backs have an appealing and appropriate heart design, which is replicated on the back of the non-embossed, slick tuck boxes. Each deck features 54 unique card face artistic designs, plus two blank-faced extra cards. These are best enjoyed as a set rather than individually, because the differences between the two decks are interesting. There are some card faces in common, but there are meaningful differences also. I'm not that familiar with the specific mythological legends behind the story of Cupid and Psyche other than the basic Valentine's Day traditions, but the intriguing artwork leads me to want to find out more. The indices are standard and jokers are differentiated (and cute); regular card play would work out fine, although you won't find standard courts with one eye or suicidal tendencies. These arrive in a sturdy double plastic case and the tucks have both a seal and plastic wrapping. Very appealing for the collector, especially one with an interest in transformation decks or mythology, and would make a nice gift for a loved one interested in playing cards.

The deck of cards are very cool, if you like that type of art. When the cards actually come in, they are very hard on the eyes and tough to look at. The size of the card is a default size and is easy to play with. The cards are a nice plastic and slide very well on a mat. They feel very easy to shuffle as well. You get a good value for your money because the cards are very cool if you like the exotic art that it comes with. All in all, the feel of the cards are great, but the design is a deal breaker for me.

My husband and I were looking for our anniversary gifts when I stumbled upon these cards. I told him that these would make a perfect gift.The story of Cupid and Psyche is such a romantic and tragic story. These cards tell it beautifully. The interesting thing is how Cupid’s deck tells the story from his perspective and Psyche’s deck tells her story from her perspective.The artwork is beautiful. Some of the pictures repeat, others have cute little secrets. I love how the Joker cards are cute renditions of the characters.These cards can be a conversation starter, they are also nice to just look at and organize.The cards are very slippery. I double checked and the decks were complete, no missing cards. There are also 4 blank cards, 2 from each deck.

The artwork on these playing cards is very beautiful. These cards are made by Bicycle and are of great quality. The cards are sturdy and durable. The artwork is light in color and pretty to look at. The two deck set come in their own boxes and then there is a plastic case that can hold the boxes. These are great for travel.

Awesome deck of cards. Easy to hold and the cards are sturdy. Can be played for hours and with multiple players. Highly recommend.
