Fantastic
First off let me say this. Fantastic hood. Best I've ever owned and nearly the cheapest. I'm not a hobby welder by any means. I do this for a living and have for a while. 10 hrs a day every day. Indoors, outdoors, in a shop , off a truck, ect. I also own several $400-700 hoods with all the bells and whistles, but none of them are as useful as this hood. I've given this hood to a newby that's never welded and then given him my Lincoln 3350, that costs 350 bucks more. He gave the Lincoln back and requested the sugar scoop. I've let the old hands try it too and they had same response. I as well prefer it to any of my other hoods. I liked it so much I bought a second one. Not because it broke but the shop always wants to use it lol. First one is going on 2 yrs. No issues whatsoever, minus some scratches on the silver surface. Which I might add is durable asf. I thought I was upgrading it by putting a Jackson headgear on it. Which I did modify to fit....but that was a down grade and I regretted it instantly lol. A few key points on this hood. This is basically a similar hood to the chopped sugar scoops from that one expensive company that does sugar scoops. But for a lot less money. *1. You need a good lense, as it comes with none at all. I recommend their auto dark lens or an arc one singles lense ( which I use ) *2. It's very well balanced. Probably the best balanced hood aside from the esab a60. Although the a60 is considerably heavier and at 375 bucks more. *3. The flip up front is so much better vs a grind mode on the expensive hoods. I use an hd arc one singles 10 shade auto dark lens. And I can can weld, cut , grind, ect without having any of those weird forgot to hit the grind button issues or flashing myself, because it's a manual flip front with an auto dark lens. *4. That silver finish they offer is great. It's slick so things do not stick to it. After 2 yrs of use it's looks like most hoods after a week or two. It also does help cut down heat. Although I will reflect your arc flash around the shop. But that's their problem hahaha. Don't stare at the guy welding maybe lol. Overall impressions.....6 out of 5 stars. I recommend for anyone tired of bully overly expensive hoods that don't last. I've kicked it, dropped it, lost it off the back of the work truck at 80 mph , fell off a balcony. Still hasn't broken or even cracked. Thank you to the people that made this thing. It's what I wanted all along.

I really live this life it ain’t no hobby!!!
I’ve had my pipeliner for 17 years. I love it. I don’t like change but my wife got me this for an early Christmas gift. As far as longevity I can’t say. I hope it is as tuff as my pipeliner. When I say this is without a doubt the most comfortable hood I’ve ever worn I mean it. I have a feeling that the headgear might be the weak point. I really hope not that is what makes it so comfortable. It’s light, already chopped and has a flip front. I put the same brand auto gold lens in it. Which by the way is awesome I’ve been using it for almost a year. They should send me some stuff to try out. I’m rough on stuff if they make a good product I can find out. I really hope that it lasts cause I really like it. I’ve only used it for three days. I will definitely give an update in a few months.UpdateWell it has been 6 months now. I weld 6 days a week. And this hood has held up extremely well. The headgear I was worried about no issues whatsoever. I added some more pictures to show how the pain isn’t like a Honeywell hood. You weld in a pipeliner for 10 minutes with a 6010 and it looks like you’ve had it a year. This one I have mainly burnt 1/8 6010 5P+ and 3/32 7018. All positions and it still looks really good. I still can’t stress enough. This is the most comfortable hood I have ever worn. I find myself still walking around with it on because I forgot it was there. It may not be for everyone. I saw one review that said you can’t wear it on a hard hat. Fortunately I don’t have to wear one. So I can’t say that for sure. And for the people who need the top of the line Keep up with the Joneses, then this probably isn’t for you but if you want a damn comfortable tough hood, not a lot of money at all this is it.

Strong Hood and fits well
I would love to give this five stars, but the only thing holding me back is that they need to put a charging port for the gold class lens that Tefuawe makes, which is fantastic by the way. I wish there were a rubber plug so you could charge the lens with its built-in Type-C charger. All in all, it's solid, and I love it, and it fits like a dream. Oh, and it's half the weight of my traditional pipeline hood. The hood performs well, and the color does not reflect.

I like it
Headgear is amazing for what it is. A lot more comfortable than my old Huntsman helmet headgear. Great purchase for a backup welding hood or someone starting out, survived overhead welding with 6010 dropping sparks on me.

Great helmet for the price. Simple too.
Love this welding hood. It’s cheap and works well. I like the 2 by 4 lens. Easy to find clear lenses. I put an auto darkening lens in it. It’s my go to welding helmet, even though I have more expensive one.

Nice welding hood
I see other reviews on here about the flip up problems. Had my helmet for about 2 months and haven’t had a problem at all! I love it, the headgear is comfy and the helmet is super light! Came assembled already so I didn’t have to do anything to it besides putting my welding shade in it!
