Susceptible to UV Damage
I ordered these to replace the pegs that are on my van's ladder/spare tire holder. The ones that came with the rack faded from black to silver in just two years. When these arrived I confirmed that they are absolutely identical to the ones on my van. While the pegs are well machined and finished, I know that the black anodization will also fade on these. I may take a pair to be powder coated.NOTE, the peg in the photo was on my rack for two years in the relentless sun of the southwest
