Workhorse Of Sport Watches!
Vertex 2s holds up as the workhorse for my weekly average 125 mile cycling and 20 to 25 mile runs. Battery will last me up to 19 days without a charge in this environment and consistent wear on left wrist.Heart Rate, HRV, & Resting Heart Rate report can be breaken down by; weekly, monthly, year and provided to my doctor who likes this information.Customized your own watchfaces, see picture above, that includes workout screens and customized navigational maps for every turn by turn in completing that extra mile for training.Music is easily added from my extensive album/CD collection that has been converted to MP3 via Auidacity or my Amazon MP3 purchases.Only negative feedback I have to Coros is to drown the watch weight from 70 grams to 60 grams.

Phenomenal battery life
This watch tracks my workouts and keeps track of sleep, heart rate, and other health-related information for me. And the best part is I only have to charge it once a month. After a few months with this watch, I still love it. I wear it every day and night. no problem sleeping with it. My only issue is that the charger/charging port can be finicky. Sometimes I need to bend it to a weird angle or push it harder than necessary to get it charged.

Finally the one that I was looking for!
It's an excellent choice if you prioritize adventure GPS watch features over smartphone capabilities. The Coros Vertix 2S boasts superior build quality compared to Garmin or Apple watches and offers the longest battery life among its competitors. I'm really impressed!

Coros Vertix 2
Espectacular, fácil uso.único punto en contra, a veces el modo altitud se descalibra y hay q estar calibrándolo antes de cambiar el modo gps.lo demás, excelente, un 7, y muchas funciones espectaculares.

Better products at this price
Good for run tracking and battery life, absolute trash for other tracking, hard pass. There is not even an option to go edit a workout when it records the reps wrong.

Good Fitness Tracker, Underwhelming Smartwatch
If you want a watch to function primarily as a fitness tracker and are not too concerned with the ability to respond to messages, sync with your calendar, control your music, or display weather information on the watch face, then the Vertex 2S is a good bet. It is very comfortable by any standards, not just for big watches. The maps and navigation are intuitive and extremely fun to play with on a hike. I prefer the MIP display over AMOLED because it is detailed enough and nets a lot of battery life. The blue colorway grew on me over time, but I still feel it is a bit too monotone; a little contrast would have gone a long way.I did not do any controlled comparisons of the health metrics to other devices, but the numbers seem reasonable. One thing that stood out to me was when weight training with the watch paired to Coros's armband heart rate monitor, there were a few instances where the system did not record any data (see screenshot). Before picking up the Vertex 2S, I used that same armband with my old T-Rex 2 for months and never encountered missed reads like that. After about a week and a half, I think I'm going back to my T-Rex 2. It may not have a great biosensor and does not have the same mapping capabilities, but it tracks workouts fine when paired with an external heart rate sensor, has comparable GPS accuracy to the Vertex 2S (though it takes a bit longer to find the signal), is a much better smartwatch in a non-exercise context, and costs $500 less.
