My first Santoku knife
Works great, especially for chopping and slicing, even "hard" veggies like carrots. Have washed in the dishwasher with strong detergent several times and no signs of any effects, though I always keep it in a silverware tray by itself and not adjacent to anything else, such as metal silverware.
