The surfaces that you glue have to be clean and oil free. This is not for big jobs that you need real thick glue for. For that type of work, use shoe-glue. This is for gluing small things like broken Christmas Ornaments, shelf decorations, dishes, cups, and speaker repairs. I have used it for several different things. It worked like it is suppose to. When I had problems, it was because I did not follow the above advice.

I love this stuff. My favorite melamine plate broke, and I didn’t want to have to throw it out. So I bought this glue, and I’m so happy that I did. It sets quickly and is easy to work with, and seems to be relatively strong. You can’t even tell where the break is unless you’re looking for it! I’m not sure how it would hold up in a dishwasher, so I would suggest hand washing this glue to maintain its good, secure quality and strength.

I repaired a plate that had 3 large pieces broken off the rim. It seemed fine. There were some small gaps because some of the edges of the broken pieces had chipped. I filled the gaps with epoxy putty. I painted the putty to match the plate. In order to make the paint bond completely I baked the plate in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. The manufacturer claims the glue is resistant to high heat. In my case, all the previously glued pieces fell off in the oven..

The ceramic super glue worked really well on a ceramic pot that was very broken. It's still holding together with a plant in it and being regularly watered!

Used it to attach a wooden handle to a ceramic mug. Works well and has stayed put even after 6 months of being washed in sink daily.

The ingredients are not food safe…Saying safe with MSDS and SGS doenst mean anything. What actual standard did the company pass? It’s just saying it has a data sheet and the components in glue are what the label says.Main components: resin, cyannoacrylate, ethylester, chloroform, dichloromethane.These should not come in contact with food or heat.

A bit dissatisfied as the three items that I used this glue on all came unglued.
