These work very well!
I cut myself on the leg in a random surfing accident, and it was one of those deep cuts where you really should go get stitches, but I opted not to. I had one of these bandages in a first aid kit in my car, and these things work wonderfully. I control the bleeding, and then applied the bandages and pulled them closed. The adhesive lasted for 4 days, and then I replaced it and it lasted for another 4 days. The wound healed as well as if it would’ve had stitches. I ordered a new box for my car first aid kit. These are a must for every home first aid kit!

Great solution for failed incision
Had a larger (5 inch) surgical incision near pelvis area and one of the sutures failed somehow. The rest of the incision held fine and was fusing, except that one area. I knew I needed something that was stronger and more aggressive than a butterfly type bandaid and did not want to waste my time in an ER on a Friday night. THIS IS IT! Just get it. I now have extra in my first aid kit as am essential must have. Easy to apply, incredibly well designed, holds in place for days. I did not use the second/finishing bandaid (top cover) as directed as I needed air to reach my incision site for my personal needs. I opted for an extra large standard bandaid type that was loosely applied so air could reach it yet also absorb any remnants of surgical fluid.

Works great
I sliced my thumb and hand open practically to the bone. Cleaned it well and slapped these on rotating and cleaning it every few days. Went to the hospital a few days later for tetanus shot. I peeled it opened and they told me to keep doing what I was doing. They just disinfected the skin and I covered it back up when I got home. Held the skin tight and healed quickly

The adhesive is not very strong at all it came off when you zip it shut

Great product
Who thinks up these things. What a great idea. I know how to suture, but this would be great when out in the woods hiking or camping. Even a child could use them. Think how much less painful this would be versus stitches. I realize some lacerations would absolutely need sutures, but this would be perfect for smaller ones.

Doesn’t do what it promises!!!
This item’s packaging says it lasts up to 14 days upon wearing. I didn’t put any ointment on and the skin was cleaned and completely dried and still it will not stick. I went thru 2 of 3 that are in the package and finally had to reinforce it w my own medical wound tape to make it stay. I couldn’t get one to stay on thru the night. It buckled and came up off the skin. A total rip off!
