First, let me say I was impressed with how well these candles were packaged. Secondly, they have been a hit for the back patio. The scent is not over powering but still appears to do the job of keeping the mosquitos as bay. They look pretty as well, so they look good as decor when not burning. I would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. If you're swayed by one-star reviews, ignore them. These candles worked perfectly with no unpleasant odors. They burn evenly and are free from harmful chemicals. They are packed well and would work nicely in a summer gift basket or as a solo gift.

These candles work on deterring evening bugs! We use 2 candles on the patio for about 3 to 4 hours a night and they lasted almost 30 days - great value as well!

We get alot of mosquitoes in our garage. that is our main way in and out of our house. I've started burning one of these - safely - in the garage and we get fewer mosquitoes in the house.

It’s cute, but it doesn’t work since it only stays lit for 2 mins. It’s also small. Kind of a waste of money.

These candles are very pretty for citronella candles. I love the beach vibes and the layered look. While I can tell that these have a scent, I can't actually smell correctly so I don't know what it is. I asked some other noses to give me some insight and I hear they smell like you would expect citronella candles to smell, but not as overpowering as some. The jars are very thick and sturdy and the candles are good sized. The current price of $31.99, means you are only paying a bit over $5 per candle, which seems like a pretty good deal. There are currently coupons available to make that price even better. Getting 6 candles at once means you can easily give some out as gifts. Or, you could keep them all and surround your patio with them to really fend off the annoying pests outside. So far I have only burned one of these to free myself of the pesty buffalo gnats that felt the need to swarm my face one day. It did help some, though it wasn't perfect. I was able to go several consecutive minutes without swatting them away though! I don't feel like any citronella candle is ever 100% effective, so that is what I would expect. I am sure that I will very soon be using these to attempt to enjoy my backyard, which always has way too many mosquitoes, so we will see how they work for that. So far I am happy with these candles.

Smells great and comes in safe packaging. They burn for a long time
