Beautiful designs in a beautiful book.
Great value at under £10. This book is beautifully made and feels really special to handle. The hardback cover opens fully so no bits of designs hard to work on and it provides a firm surface if you are working without a table or tray of some kind. The paper is slightly textured yet still silky, and a good thickness so a minimum of transfer on to pages under where you're working.Outlines are not too thick on the white paper designs. The dark pages dotted through the book are gorgeous to colour. I have never really enjoyed colouring dark background designs but these have totally changed my mind. All the designs are beautiful and none too intricate to work on unlike many books. A couple are slightly more childish but not overly so. Maybe nice to share the colouring book with a younger family member too.Have to confess to immiately buying two more of this collection within 24 hours of geting this one. No regrets, they are equally gorgeous. I've only had this book a few days and completed 8 of the designs. A very relaxing and enjoyable way to pass spare time.

Excellent quality and value
My first ever Maria book arrived yesterday Nightfall and Twilight Garden coming today - WOW very impressed can't wait to get colouring (when I get some free time 😂). Paper quality is lovely, images lots to choose from and the hard back makes it lovely to hold and touch. I usually use Johanna Basford (hope I'm allowed to say that) but Maria's books are lovely to complement them and have a little choice depending on mood of what to colour. Cant wait to get the others !

Lovely book
I have taken to doing adult colouring and this book is lovely with lots of little intricate pieces to colour which is what I like. Just not sure it's worth the price really but has kept me busy so maybe it is!

Beautiful Book
This has to be favourite book that I have in my collection. There is a good selection of images and the paper is of good quality.Ive never been keen on colouring entire backgrounds, but some of the images in the book come with a black background and the contrast between that and the colours put down on the paper is amazing, really makes the colours pop. It's the first Maria Trolle book Ive had,I'd definitely recommend it and w ill be looking o ut for more of her work

Beautiful!
I love this colouring book! It is made of very high quality paper with a beautifully illustrated hardback cover and a metallic gold spine. The paper is thick and absolutely perfect for colouring pencils - if you are familiar with the paper in the UK version of Johanna Basford's colouring books, the paper in this Nightfall book is very similar but perhaps even a little thicker and sturdier. I love that the plants and flowers within the book are indexed with their scientific names so that you can use reference photos to help you colour if you want to. The only downside is that the plant names are indexed with page numbers but for obvious reasons there are no numbers on the individual images so you have to count the pages manually. I love that some of the illustrations have a black background, giving a completely different look and feel. I'm amazed at the quality of this book given the affordable price. A gorgeous addition to any colouring book collection!

Going Dutch.
I am a fan of this series of books. However I find the paper in the English version of all Maria Trolle books far inferior to the paper of the Dutch edition - for all mediums. Something in my opinion also true of Hanna Karlzon books!

Good quality but childish images.
I purchased this for a Christmas gift. It is certainly good quality, and beautifully bound. However, on arrival, looking through the book, I found a lot of the images quite childish, (small animals, ghosts, pretty little girls etc,) which made it seem unsuitable for the person I had intended it for. It is too intricate for a child to colour, so in my view, more suited to a teenager. I struggled to think of anyone else in the family who would want it, so returned it without hassle from Amazon. I appreciate that this is down to personal taste, but for me, it just wasn't suitable.
