These are thick, springy and flexible foam pads that protect healing areas of the body from the stress and friction of wearing clothing over them. The pads are easy to cut into a shape that will shield the wound area, and you can use bandage wrap to anchor them if the area isn't one where clothing will naturally hold the foam in place.I will note, like others, that there is a strong chemical smell when you first open the package. The foam really needs a chance to air out in the sun and off-gas for a day or two before you want this in an enclosed room or on your person. It's easy enough to just set them out on a clothesline in the sun, though, and once you've taken care of that, the smell is no longer an issue. You could also try hand-washing them if you don't have access to an outdoor clothesline.I'll also note that any synthetic foam will have the same issue of being less than breathable to wear. This product is no exception. I recommend having some absorbent layer of gauze between this and the skin, to keep moisture from building up. Since that's universal to all of this kind of foam padding, I'm not taking off any stars for it; it's just part of standard use for these types of foam.Overall, I like the size and flexibility of these foam pads, and they do provide the cushion and protection that they're supposed to.

This is a pack of 5 sheets of lipo foam that is easy to cut to size and fit tough areas like behind the knees and under the arms, but can also be used for added compression where needed such as for fluid pockets or swelling. It's soft and comfortable, I barely felt it once it was in place. 5 sheets may not seem like much, but this 5 pack lasted me quite a while after surgery.

I've spent days trying to get the smell out, it's a little chemical and almost cigarette like. I've aired them out and had them in front of an ozone machine, the smell persists; not yet ready to wear the smell aroundIt's a soft foam, but has body to it. Will definitely help to even out the pressure of my binders and protect from unevenness in the elastic.As soon as they stop stinking, I'm sure they'll be good.

These foam boards provide that bit of extra softness and protection you really need under a compression garment while healing. The foam is not super stiff and has enough "give". They also helped prevent the waist support belt from creasing into my abdomen when bending slightly. I toss them once they get soiled, so I can't speak to how cleanable they might be. They do feel soft enough to be cut and shaped but I haven't needed to do that.

Using these after cosmetic surgery and they are comfortable and supportive.

These are to be worn with other garments to get the desired look you want. They are comfortable and good quality. The material feels nice and not irritating at all which can be a huge hassle in the recovery period. They also fit into my garment and didn’t feel overly bulky. I think it offers a good level of compression that will enhance my overall results. Easy enough to trim to your liking. Highly satisfied with this product and definitely would recommend to others for their recovery needs.

These semi soft foam sheets are perfect for their intended purpose. Definitely soft enough to protect the skin after lipo and prevent any compression straps digging in etc.However, they are far more versatile than just that!! I have actually used them for a load of little craft projects and love that the foam is easy to cut and firm enough to hold its own weight.Making little items from it is really easy and extends the use-ability a lot!
