With my 23 year old furnace falling apart in more than one way this past January, my induction motor died. I think my furnace is almost done, so I wanted to spend as little as possible on the motor replacement. Installation was super easy. It comes with all the bits you need. Less than 20 mins to install with no mods needed. As for performance, let's just say, trust the reviews. It works fine if I brace my furnace door and put a shim in between my exhaust pipe and the furnace itself, at least then the vibrations can't be heard throughout the house. It's actually fine once the circulation fan kicks in. If you can afford the extra couple hundred dollars spend it elsewhere.

This seemed to work at first although it was nearly as loud as the one it was replacing that was out of balance. However, it leaks exhaust condensation from the seam in the casing. There is always a big puddle under the furnace now. The installation was easy and it's nice that it comes with replacement gaskets, o-ring, hose clamps, etc., but I had to spend a lot more time figuring out where the leak was coming from and now I have to try to arrange getting a refund on it and getting a new one from a better brand. Even without the leak I would probably rate it 3 stars because it's not very balanced and the noise on startup is concerningly loud.
