As with my previous experience with Cable Matters' cables, this performed as expected. Using this with a Hagibis USB4 Enclosure [Model: XL-UD1101 - ASM 2464PD Chip paired with Crucial P3 Plus 2TB PCIe Gen4 3D NAND NVMe] connected to a Beelink SER8 8845HS Mini PC.

For my Windows desktop pc, I recently purchased a USB-C hub that has a USB-C port (hard to find a so-called USB-C hub that actually has a USB-C port). To connect with my iPhone, I had already tried a USB-C to USB-C cable that I already had, but I found that the connection didn't always happen. So I decided that I needed to get a high-quality, fast, and short USB-C to USB-C cable to hook up my iPhone to the hub.I looked around and found the Cable Matters 1 ft. USB 4 cable and this is exactly what I needed. I tested the cable with a 4 GB video file, and it was about a second faster copying the file than a high-speed cable I bought recently from a competitor.I also like the fact that the cable is nice and stiff, which makes it lie flat on top of the desktop, either when not in use or connected to the iPhone.A highly recommended cable if you want speed and reliability.

Functionally the cable works as expected. High quality. But please get the longer lengths even for shorter runs unless that run is point-to-point straight without any tension. The cable is very thick and relatively rigid. I bought the one foot length because my hub is right next to my computer. The run is shorter than one foot, so the cable bends a bit and puts stress on the connection from cable to laptop, which forced my laptop battery to drain because the connection wasn’t tight enough. A longer run would, ironically, prevent that stress because it could be coiled and the ends more properly positioned. I ended up carefully position everything and it’s been fine, but I do have to be super careful with positioning now.

Forget about paying $50+ for a 2-m Thunderbolt 4 cable. This cable is recognized as TB4 and USB4 and transfer over it to my TB4 hub worked perfectly for a fraction of the cost of usual TB4 cables. Charging of both a MacBook Pro and an iPhone 15 worked fine at full charging brick power. The only downside to this cable is perhaps that it's only available in smooth black plastic and that it is a bit thicker than USB3 or USB2 cables. But if you need TB4/3 or USB4 cable that can also charge, this is the one cable to rule them all. And at this price you might as well just get this for everything.

Tested results showed this to be one of the very best cables you can buy. And it lived up to the transfer speed and power transfer charging. Will buy more as I need them in the future.
