My 7 year old son loves this, it's two things he enjoys. Puzzle cubes and the periodic table. The only thing he wishes that it was in a little more boy colors than girl colors however he still likes it. I like that it encourages him to learn and review the periodic table (he knows a lot of it already) while playing.

This is a fun and visually interesting item, especially if you like the periodic table or science-themed designs. It definitely looks cute and makes for a neat novelty piece. However, in terms of functionality, it doesn’t perform very well. The movement isn’t smooth and it tends to get stuck, which can be frustrating if you’re expecting it to work seamlessly. Because of that, it feels more like a gimmick than something meant for regular use. I didn’t know when ordering that it’s slightly smaller than a standard Rubik’s cube. However, it runs smoothly like a speedcube and is unique. We like the colours and nerdiness of it.

I am actually smitten over this product. It is beautiful and works good... to give my advice and sentiment, every science teacher or professor should have one of these on their desk. You actually will be thrilled and very entertained you bought one (eventually).
