I got this for my husband and we are BOTH learning so much! I love how each month is broken down by chapters and it not only talks about important biological information, but also how to be a supportive husband! The writing style and page sizes help you not lose interest. I’ll definitely be recommending this book to all my friends who are planning their families!

Straightforward and easy to digest! Doesn't dive into extreme detail but a great tl;dr with actionable takeaways for different problems/questions.

I bought a bunch of books as a first time father to be and my wife and I both agree this is the best one. Straight and to the point, clear weekly breakdown of mom’s and baby’s stats, ideas and tips to be the all-star husband giving her what she needs and when. It’s more direct to the point with less anecdotal fluff to fill pages, more answers and information than anything else.

It is clear the author of this was way less mature than my husband when he found out his wife was pregnant. Overall, it gives good information and is VERY helpful to explain to a male partner exactly what is happening with the pregnancy. It breaks it down by week and really prepared my husband for certain things and explained them in a way I couldn't. For instance, when I tried on some jeans and couldn't button them comfortably and broke down crying, my husband had read about this time in the pregnancy it was to be expected. He was able to say "this is completely normal" and help me to find leggings and something comfortable to wear. Before this book, he would have just been like - YOU'RE GROWING A HUMAN WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? All in all, that experience made it worth it.He is also able to read and know what is coming so there aren't too many surprises I can throw at him these days because he is prepared for it. I would recommend as a simple education and guidance tool for the SO

My husband and I read this together every Sunday during my pregnancy, it became our little tradition. It was such a fun way for him to understand what I was going through, learn how to support me, and see what our baby was developing each week. Highly recommend!

I purchased this for my husband for Father’s Day, as he will be a future father. I’d read that this book pairs well with “What To Expect” and I’m very happy with this purchase. We read the beginning together and it sounded so funny— I wasn’t sure if I should get the audio book as well. If I get a chance, I’d like to read it as well. Very glad my husband is enjoying it.

This was part of telling my husband I was pregnant and he loves it! Very informative book, but short and sweet. Perfect for my busy guy!
