I have tried this on my yorkshire terrier. I must say the comb is not suitable for my dog, however it might be quite good for bigger breeds. When it comes to the solution, it comes out as foam. It instantly made my dogs fur feel wet so I was a bit disappointed as felt that I would have the same effect if I was to just wet the dog. At the end I was applying foam and using my dogs ordinary comb to get through the knots. It did help somewhat. I th8nk the biggest effect I saw the next day as dogs fur looked much shinier really. It is easier to comb it now as well.I do not think that this foam will make much difference if tangles are really bad, however it might be perfect for everyday use to ease the combing of the fur.

I have a long coated German shepherd, he gets easily knotted on his back legs, we call them his pants, i have struggled for so long, tried all the detangler sprays and if you know German shepherds they can be drama queens and he put up quite the performance, so much to a point he sounded like he was being murdered, but this this has brought back my sanity and works like a dream, the only performance i now get is him rolling on his back refusing to get up, grooming him is a dream, no more tears from me and he smells amazing, plus when i use it behind his ears his fluff looks like noodles

This brand has been a game changer for my rough collie whose coat can be a little challenging. We have been using the detangling spray which is a game changer. i managed to get all of the knots out behind his ears with it and a metal comb.Now this is the reason i deduced marks, the comb doesn't do anything with the rough collie coat. its too soft. Now if it was a metal comb, it would be great. The product smells absolutely wonderful and i use it now as a foam with the said metal comb.If you have a dog with a short coat then it will be perfect.meanwhile- please try the detangling spray and the shampoo- they are absolutely amazing

My 2 pups love mess and mud, but have the most beautiful white fluffy coats...YEP...not for long!Used this product on both boys, they were happy with little fuss and stress, I squirted, combed and detailed. It definitely did the job and will be buying more and use as part of our daily grooming routine. I bought the non seated, but will try a scented version as the other bugalugs products smell really nice. Good size for holding while squirting and combing. The boys coats were soft once dry.

Unfortunately the tube into the bottle is broken so I will have to return and reorder the item

Easy to use and smells ok, haven't had any large mats while ive had it so I can't review for how well it untangles
