Better than the lean one

This biltong pack comes in a sealed 200g package. It contains some nice cuts and is a fantastic and tasty snack. The garlic level is quite pronounced, which is great for garlic lovers but might be much for those who prefer a subtler or meatier touch. The meat itself is of high quality, well-seasoned, and air-dried to perfection, offering a delightful texture that captures the essence of traditional biltong.Personally, I found the cuts to be a tad too thick for my liking. Thinner slices might have enhanced the eating experience by allowing the garlic and natural meat flavours to meld more harmoniously upon each bite. However, the robust garlic punch and the lean quality of the meat make this biltong a satisfying treat. We love it in our house, and it’s already nearly gone! It makes for a great snack choice that provides a much better nutritional value than snacking on cakes and biscuits.

Not really South African, more American beef jerry unfortunately in taste.

this 200g pack is very generously sized and has a decent amount of biltong that is more than enough for a few people to share (and share it you probably will as it recommends consuming within 3 days of opening).the wild garlic flavour is enjoyable but i found if i took a decent pinch at once it became too overwhelming of a taste. this is best enjoyed a couple of small pieces at a time and savouring it. the pepperiness and gamey flavour of the biltong come through best when enjoyed this was too.this is the lean version and it was indeed very lean with no sign of excess fat on any of the pieces.overall this is something I enjoyed trying. i'll be trying some of the other flavours at some point for sure.

This is really nice biltong. It's quite soft and tender so good for those that prefer this texture over the hard jaw breaking jerky-like texture. Not overly flavoured, a nice somewhat subtle garlic flavour in every bite but mild enough to not overpower the beef at all. Good shelf life but the package recommends consuming within 3 days once opening.

This biltong is made with very good quality meat and it’s in snackable bite sized pieces.The bag isn’t resealable and you have to eat it within 3 days but 200g is a lot of biltong and it’s quite dry so you’d need to have a lot of people eating it to get through the whole pack.It is very tasty, although I would have liked a bit more garlic. For the meat quality alone, I’m happy to recommend this biltong.
