I love these headphones! They are very helpful for me translating coaching conversations with Spanish speaking leaders on my team. The ability to swap down to the Spanish Dialect is great as well! I will note that the translation system doesn't do well for large group settings. It cannot differentiate between different voices very well and thinks the same person is speaking which leads to a nonsensical sentence translation. But for 1 on 1 translation between two people, these headphones have not yet let me down! I have and will continue to recommend them to everyone working in a multi-cultural workspace! P.S The photo translation piece of the app is also great. When a Spanish speaking team member writes a note, hand written, in spanish, the system snaps a photo and instantly replaces the words on the page with my selected language. AMAZING!

The only reason I bought these was for the offline translation, which doesn't work no matter what I try. I was able to use the included redemption code to download the languages. When i try to use it, it acts like it's working but never translates anything. Without offline mode these are no better than using Microsoft or Google translator for free with your normal headphones. Don't waste your money.

Anyone looking to purchase products like these should always look into reviews and videos of them in action before purchasing. It isn’t instantaneous, and I am not knocking stars off because of that. As far as translations go, it would get a 4 - when talking to someone in a quiet room they preform near flawlessly, if a little slow compared to other more expensive models (you get what you pay for) My problem with them is the Bluetooth adapter in them is crap. I was gonna contact for a return except I got into touch with a group of people who all own them and it seems to just be the way they are. Left ear bud when listening to music is constantly cutting out - and has done so during translation testing, it’s only for a second but is pretty constant. Otherwise these would be golden.

Great for talking on the phone while outside working, long range, well fitting ear pieces. Case closure magnet is strong, Highly recommend. It works well, especially if you intend on using it for translating real-time conversions between you and another, where you both people wait and take turns to speak. However, it's not good for loud places, or if you want to listen to music or watch TV where talking or conversation is quick and more natural. There is a delay (> 0.5 sec) between what is said and the translation so, if someone is speaking and there isn't a long enough pause before speaking begins again then the translator will cut off the translation and start translating the next block of text without finishing the previous translation leaving you with jumbled pieces of conversation. If they fixed the overlapping and cutting off with some sort of short term memory buffer and asynchronous processing this be 5 stars.

A lot of the words get misinterpreted. Often to profanities.

I was skeptical as to how well these ear bids would work but I turned on a Netflix movie to give them a dry run. They worked well, especially when the conversations weren't quick exchanges. These will be very helpful on my upcoming trip to Costa Rica, I will be driving there and will need to interact with people that will most likely not speak English. I feel much more confident going there with these earbuds!
