I purchased this lock to replace another smart lock that malfunctioned. Installation was pretty standard, took about 5 minutes to install and about 15 minutes to program. So far, this lock has held up just fine and there are no issues. The fingerprint scanner is finicky and does not work every time. I also wish that you could use rf cards instead of just the app or pin pad.

I recently installed the eufy Security Smart Lock C220, and it’s fantastic. The fingerprint feature works reliably, and the installation was straightforward. It significantly enhances security and convenience. Although it’s a bit pricey, the quality and performance make it worth the investment.

I received a defective lock and reached out to Eufy/Anker products. In a chat with them they agreed to send a replacement but I needed to wait for an email to confirm the details and then the replacement would be shipped. No email received, checked spam, nothing. I called the next day and was told they are still working on it. Never received the email or a replacement so I just bought the same new lock and returned the defective one. Very disappointed.The new working lock is awesome, easy to set up, works well and is relatively inexpensive. I can't comment on tbe battery life as it's only been operational for about two weeks.I just hope I don't need to contact Eufy again based on the experience I had.

I cannot tell you how happy I am with this! I absolutely love Eufy! I have their cameras as well and found them to be great so wanted to try this. We have a touchpad in place, but it is awful and 4 years old. With this one it works seamlessly. It was easier to install since we already had a similar one on. I am so surprised how easy it was to set up which the video is amazing for set by step. I love it and connects to the eufy app and you can get alerts whenever it is used. I do like the thumbprint feature, but it doesn’t always work for me, but the keypad always works. I just went on vacation and set up a passcode for my parents and they loved it as well said it was super easy to use. If you are thinking of buying this just do it, I personally think it is worth every penny.

I've owned the C220 lock for a month and have found it to work really well. It took about 10 minutes to install and no modifications to my door were needed. The lock is well constructed and is heavy. The management app is well done and easy to navigate.Things to note:1. Some older people can have hard to read fingerprints. This is not specific to Eufy. Use a code number for them instead if this is a problem.2. The battery life on my lock has been great as my wifi is close by. The further away the lock is from your WIFI access point, the more demand there is on the batteries. This is why some people report great battery life while others complain it's terrible. I believe it took 8 batteries.. it should last a long time.3. No more smart hub!! Good riddance. Adding and removing codes or fingerprints is FINALLY easy! This might be the biggest difference.4. The touch keypad CAN be seen in direct sunlight5. I did not try the geofencing but it has the capability, provided everyone in the family has the app on their phone. It could auto-lock and auto unlock if configured to do so.6. I did not test doorbell or camera integration - but it has that feature.Gripes: These are small but need to be noted1. For renters: temporary/scheduled access codes work fine but there is no integration with text messaging (or email) to create the code and send it in a single process. Heck, the app is already managed on your mobile - why not do this? Now I have to separately send a text with all the details when this could have been easier.2. When using a number codes, you have to press the keypad once to wake it up, enter the code, and then press the enter key on the bottom right of the panel. Why do I need to press enter? Why not open the lock after a second if no additional keys are pressed and the code is correct? Now you have to tell potential renters of this requirement to press the enter key. My point is: the enter key is not be obvious to people unfamiliar with the lock.3. On the app, the battery life is shown as a tiny battery picture with lines filled in for battery life remaining. Would it have killed them to put a percentage number next to it?Overall, this is the best lock that I have tried and I have tried about 6 others to date. I hope you found this review useful.

First I bought another a little cheaper version of lock from another brand, and it was not so great. Their installation guide was not really user friendly and it did not even work after installation.Then I ordered Eufy C220 and it was so easy to install it. It worked perfectly as expected. I love it's very simple smartphone app. Finger sprint works everytime. I am still trying to find a one touch lock functionality. It is also easy to lock with fingerprint but we have to tpuch and hold for about 2 seconds. I also like the length of the length which is little more than previously ordered lock and it fits well.I highly recommend it

I love this. I had a deadbolt that used a code but wasn't linked with the internet. I liked the code because it was near impossible to lock yourself out. It's also easy to let people in when I go on vacation. Someone needs to feed the cats. This deadbolt is nifty. You can lock and unlock with the internet, you can use Alexa,( I don't like that you ask alexa and then you also need to say a number code. Would of been nice to just unlock but I get it. You could yell for her to unlock from the outside of the house and anyone could get in) you can use your fingerprint, pass code, or the method of our ancient ancestors, a key. I have a eufy doorbell camera so it pair nicely. You can sync them together and a lock will appear on the camera app when you're looking in the live view. Just press to unlock. I've had no problem with connectivity. I will say a lot of cameras and equipment like this uses 2.5 ghz wifi. So I turn off my 5ghz wifi for the installation. I think it helps to connect easier. Once it's linked and set up just turn it back on if you want. I have a deco mesh system so it really easy. I also turn of my wifi 6 for the install.

Easy to install as long as you don't need the round adapter. You'll have to wait for that.Set up with the app is very straight forward.Very handy to see if the door is locked or not from the app. (Main reason for upgrading).Finger print is a great feature. The keypad can be a bit tricky, but not a real issue.Time will tell how long the batteries actually last.Has a very smooth lock and unlock action. Feels like good solid quality that will last.Would recommend this lock especially when on sale.

The media could not be loaded. I have yet to try it during the winter months but so far very happy with this door lock!MAJOR PROS:- After 5 months of moderate use it still shows full battery life.- The touch function and fingerprint scanner is fast at responding.- Great app integration.- Easy to install.- backed by Anker/ eufy customer support which I had a great experience with in the past for a different product.- I always forget if I’ve locked the door when I leave so being able to check on the app is a great feature for me for peace of mind.Very happy with my purchase so far!! They have great sales often so keep an eye out!

Very easy to install and the app is user friendly. My family loves the finger prints function. I like the fact that we can also use the key in case the lock run out of battery. But it would be nice if the key lock could be hidden, so it can’t be picked. Love the fact that I can see and unlock/lock the door from my mobile app. The mobile app it’s very neat and offers a lot information and functionality. I would prefer if the whole family could use the same digital code to unlock the door instead of a unique code for every one.Wonder if someday they will have face recognition?

I researched smart lock reviews for a long time prior to purchasing. I was concerned about switching over to something non-Yale or Non-Weiser. This lock appears to have the most options for the best price. The Matt black finish and overall design is very nice. The unit allows for numerous key pad code options ( 4-8 number configurations) if you wish to provide unique code options for multiple users. All codes and access can be cancelled easily at any time using the phone app. The lock could be locked or unlocked anywhere at anytime with internet accesss using your phone. Options to auto-lock on/off after closing the door are provided. Keys are provided for emergency backup. The lock opens relatively well with your fingerprint (not apple IPhone good, for older apple iPhone users) but works well. The customization options for the unit appear endless. I’ve used the lock for a month with no battery fatigue at this point. The device uses 8 AAs which is more than most BUT the battery life is advertised to be stronger than most and I do not want to be swapping out batteries every 2 months. Time will tell regarding battery life. Very pleased so far. Appears to be the best lock I ever purchased at this time.

I was so excited for this lock to arrive, but was so disappointed that it didn’t have an adapter to fit the round whole. I took almost a month to get the adapter shipped to me, so in that time I chiseled the door to fit what I had. I works okay. The fingerprint sensor works about 1 in 10 tries, so I use the code most of the time. The batteries have already needed replacing 4 times so far since I’ve had it… (8 months of battery? Nope, not even a month of moderate use). I like that I can adjust the auto-lock and the lock function is super smooth when it works. I turned off most of the app functions with hopes it would extend the battery. Once the battery starts to die (under 2 weeks) connecting to the app doesn’t work well anyway. Overall, I’m really quite disappointed. One star is too high.
