Like all crassulaceae, belonging to the succulent macrofamily, these fascinating plants (also called "Jade Tree") are small works of art due to the beauty of their leaves, called vacuoles, in which they store water and can therefore resist even during periods of drought. The crassula in particular the variety "Ovata Hobbit", lends itself very well to be used as bonsai. It is a very scenic plant made up of several stems, with a shrub bearing of sure effect, thanks to the density of its foliage and the arrangement of the branches. The crassula is a plant that does not need much care: It should be exposed in a very bright area, even better if under the sun and with temperatures always above 10 ° C. Watering must be moderate in both summer and winter, as it is a plant that in itself stores water. Fertilization should be done every vegetative restart, then in spring, with organic slurry fertilizers for succulents.
