What a fantastic knife , make sure you buy the sheath to keep it in good shape . This knife is so sharp , the sheath will protect the blade. Worth every penny.

This.knife is a perfect, ergonomic, supremely sharp knife! I have a Seŕbian Chef Knife that I can't use very.well because it's very heavy and I have grip issues. This one is much lighter and so much easier to maneuver! And did I say it's VERY sharp? I hand wash it in hot soapy water, rinse it well, dry it super well, and use one small drop of a neutral oil on a paper towel and rub it well all over (even the wooden handle), put it back in the leather scabbard and put it away. It's still as sharp as the day I got it! I would most DEFINITELY buy this again. In fact I did! Bought it for my brother-in--law and considering another as a Christmas gift for our friend that fancies himself a chef!

Its light duty sheath. Needs a heavy duty sheath to match a heavy duty knife.If not careful you can cut Snap off sheath.Rich R.
