Firstly and foremost this is a really nice set of dice. The craftsmanship of the case alone is worth the purchase alone, The design is really good and the mechanism is also very well done. The actual dice are also beautifully done albeit a little small for me, but they are perfectly useable and do look great.The all metal construction is another big plus point.This would make an awesome gift to any dnd fan.

For the price I thought it was just going to be little more than a novelty, so when it arrived I was rather surprised. It is nicely boxed, which is a good thing, but when you get it out of the box it just feels really nice, and very much like something that I would have expected to cost a lot more. The opening mechanism had a reassuring click to it, and the pattern on the face was superb. I know the dice for this kind of thing are often small, but I would have preferred for them to be just a little bit bigger, but other than that it is great.I actually got it as a gift for a friend, and I know she is going to absolutely love this.

Make sure you check the dimensions of everything to avoid disappointment. The dice are about the size of midget gem sweets, but they do function perfectly fine as dice.The pocket watch style holder is beautiful, and the entire lot is packaged in a smart cardboard box. I guess that makes sense, as steampunk wouldn't put things in a plastic holder.This would make an excellent gift for any RPG fan, both Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer.

The main concern for products like this is how well it’s able to stay closed with the dice inside it. Luckily, the closing/locking mechanism is extremely well crafted and leaves no room for it to open unexpectedly! It looks great and has a great weight to it as well!

Als ich auf amazon vine dieses Würfelset in der Taschenuhr entdeckte, wusste ich einfach, dass die P&P Fans meiner Familie davon begeistert sein würden und hab es daher gleich zum kostenlosen Testen bestellt.Geliefert wurde das Set in einer wunderschönen schwarzen Geschenkverpackung (siehe Foto), der eine edle kleine Grußkarte mit Goldgravur (siehe Foto) beigelegt war. Im inneren der Box befand sich die Taschenuhr, die eigentlich keine Taschenuhr ist, sondern nur eine Dose im Taschenuhrdesign, mit zwei Ketten: Eine um sie an Weste oder Jackett zu befestigen und eine um sie sich damit um den Hals zu hängen. Im inneren der Taschenuhr befand sich dann das vollständige mini Würfelset bestehend aus W4, W6, W8, W10 mit Ziffern von 0-9, W10 mit Zahlen in Zehnerschritten von 00-90, W12 und W20. Die Würfel sind mit einem Durchmesser von ca. 5mm winzig klein und daher eher ein nettes Gadget als wirklich zum Spielen zu nutzen.Die Taschenuhrbox und beide Ketten wirken stabil und sauber verarbeitet. Allerdings ist das Wechseln der Ketten nicht ganz einfach. Zwar lässt sich die gröbere Uhrenkette mit einer Art einfachem Karabiner gut von der Uhr lösen. Will man dafür aber die Halskette befestigen, muss man den Befestigungsring mithilfe einer Zange auf und wieder zu biegen. Das sollte man aber nicht zu oft machen, weil durch häufiges auf- und zu biegen die Gefahr besteht, dass der Ring bricht.Die Taschenuhrendose hat keinen wirklichen Verschlussmechanismus, d.h. man kann sie nicht per Knopfdruck oder so öffnen. Man muss mit den Fingernägeln unter den Deckel gehen und ich hochhebeln. Dafür braucht man ordentlich Kraft in den Fingern. Die Dose hält von sich aus gut zu. Aber so besteht immerhin nicht die Gefahr, dass sie von alleine aufgeht und die kleinen Würfelchen herausfallen.Wenn man die Würfelchen in der Uhrenbox transportiert, scheppert es ganz schön, da die Metallwürfel gegen die Metalluhrendose fallen. Hier wäre vielleicht eine Auspolsterung im Innern der Uhr sinnvoll gewesen.Fazit: Ein tolles ausgefallenes Geschenk für P&P Fans in guter Qualität. Der Preis von aktuell knapp 22€ auf amazon ist dafür mehr als angemessen. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Nice and solid piece for a gift idea. Dice are really small so be sure to keep a eye or several on them if you use them to roll. Good too for a center piece
