Found where it works best!
My teenager is thrilled because she was interested in trying this little foot-bike, and it happens to fits and works the best under her desk. She has a grippy rug, plus the mat, and her desk chair is on the lower side, so I think it was just the perfect setup. It’s very portable so we can use it elsewhere, but finding the right seat with the correct height, to keep it stable while in use, can be trickier than just picking it up and plopping it down anywhere. For the exercise she’s getting even while doing homework or gaming, it’s been a decent addition.

A good idea in theory
So the thing is, if you put this under your desk at work, you have to give up your chair with wheels and use a stationary chair. Otherwise, you end up rolling all around, knocking things over, and getting annoyed and frustrated. But if you do use a stationary chair, this is probably great.

Not great
This is not a great machine to use while doing anything but focusing on it. It's very unsteady and not smooth at all. I tried adjusting the tension both ways and it just isn't working for me. The pedals are pretty small too. I'm an 8.5 in women's and had a hard time keeping my feet on it because the pedals were too small for me. Overall, I don't think one can get the desired effect with this machine.

Unstable
I thought this would be something great to have under my desk while I am on my computer. But when I use it it wobbles and can slide even with the mat. I am unsure if the straps on the pedals tighten because I haven't seen anything about it so I am assuming it doesn't. I don't like using this with shoes so my feet constantly slip when I use this. When I try to adjust the tension it only makes the pedals jerky.

Great unit!
This is a great little bike exerciser. The unit is lightweight and tends to slide on a bare floor. However, it stays in place without issue on a rug or with the included non-slip pad. The resistance is easily adjusted using the knob on the front of the unit. It is very portable and can be easily moved to different locations. So far, the unit has been durable without showing any signs of wear (after a few weeks of daily use). Great value for the cost!

Looks Nice But Jerky & Unstable
I thought this was the perfect solution to office exercise. I’ll say that it does have a relatively small footprint like I wanted. It has a nice design and look to it and even comes with a perfectly sized mat for it to sit on which was a bonus. It has a screen that gives feedback on your workout and the tension is adjustable. All things that are great features. My issue is that I wanted something that I could use while I work and that just isn’t possible with this unit as it is received. It was so jerky and difficult that I had no ability to focus on anything other than keeping the exerciser in place. After reading some other comments it looks like the issue is that it isn’t property lubricated. Maybe if I get my husband to disassemble it, he can fix it and make it usable but as of right now it isn’t. I shouldn’t need to “fix” a brand-new product. That said, I do really hope that he can fix it because I really like the size and options and love the idea of being able to get a few steps in during a time of day that my mind is working but my body is doing absolutely nothing which isn’t very healthy. If it was smooth this would definitely be 5 stars.

Not as useful as hoped
I wanted something I could exercise in front of the TV. I live in a small place and thought this would do the trick. As others have said, this is unstable. I spent a lot of time (and energy) putting it back up right and back in place. I finally gave up.

Easy to assemble, provides more exercise than expected
This little exerciser came with everything needed for assembly, and even included an extra bolt and washer. Even the necessary tools, allen wrench and hex wrench, were included. It took less than 15 minutes to put it together, and I'm really not a do-it-yourselfer. However, when my husband told me he'd do it for me because he thought it would be too hard for me, I decided to prove him wrong. I wasn't nearly as inept at putting this together as he thought I would be.The instructions warned about pulling the display too far, because of a cable that would attached to the enclosure. There was a cable, but it was never attached to the enclosure. That didn't present a problem, as the display works as expected without the cable being attached. There is a mat that's supposed to keep the exerciser from slipping while I'm using it. The mat wasn't necessary. I put it it directly on my office chair mat, and that kept it from slipping while I was cycling. My biggest (and only) problem with this is the claim that it can be used under a desk. I couldn't. I'm fairly short, and my legs come up at least 4" too high to use this under my computer desk. I can scoot my office chair back for use, but I won't be close enough to use my computer while I'm cycling.I discovered that cycling used more muscles than expected, including by abdominal muscles. To get a full-body workout while cycling, I lift weights -- hold a soup can in each hand and lift either my arms or hands with each cycle rotation. Whether I lift with my hands or arms depends on which group of muscles I want to exercise, so I take turns using either arms or hands to life the soup can. If you want to get a bit fancier, you can buy some small hand weights, but the cans worked great for me.
