Got these pens for sketching. They feel smooth to draw with and can apply variable pressure like any other ballpoint pen. On the other hand, they can be quite temperamental; sometimes you need to scribble a pen around to get the ink flowing again, and blotting can randomly occur when drawing, something I feel happens less often with the Bic Cristal ballpoints.
