I never thought of this before it popped up on my recommended list. I’ve been giving myself a buzz-cut for over a decade, but this allows me to be able to experiment a little with different lengths for the back and sides.The band is comfortable to wear but not to slack as to move around during use. It is easy to clean and dry after use being made of true silicone material. Whilst hair clippings do stick to this when in a dry state, they soon slide off easily when water is applied.Starting out to be your own barber is relatively easy to do, but this very simple band makes it even easier to ensure you get a good cut each time.

What a cracking idea this is. For decades I've struggled with getting a decent line cut around the back of my neck, it's just so difficult to see things round there properly with a couple of mirrors. I've tried asking my partner but it never seems to work out well and I'm now permanently left with a loose edge at the back and lots of very fine fluff down my neck.This simple aid has made all that a thing of the past. It's just a simple silicon band but it fits snuggly and, due to it's stretchiness and the material, holds in place without budging. Given it's stretchiness I think it will fit a variety of head sizes and shapes.The band remains in place when I'm running the clippers around the back and gives a nice clean line, as well as allowing me to remove all the little bits down my neck. Not only was I happy with it but it also passed my partner's eye test. As it's silicon it was very easy to clean with a quick swill under the tap and it dried very easily.Thoroughly recommended if you cut your own hair.
