This clock is cute and works. My teenager can’t get up in the mornings so I thought I would try this alarm clock and for some reason this wakes her up. The alarm sound is loud and pitched high enough that it is able to get to her while dead asleep. Setting it up took quite a bit of time because directions are confusing and don’t match the buttons on the actual alarm clock but once figured out it’s easier to set up.

It’s too cute to not love and it’s fun to squish or yell at when I want to see the time. Because of the small size, it fits perfectly on my night stand and I’m sure it will be great for traveling. I like a nightlight and this guy puts out the perfect amount of warm light to leave on through the night. $26 is a little pricey for what it is because it doesn’t really work good for an alarm clock. The alarm chimes are cute but quit. They also don’t continuously play until turned off. Instead, it plays for a short time and, that’s it. If you do get this cute capybara, you’ll have a fun, time telling, night light but I recommend still set your phone alarms.

The clock and character are cute. The sounds are loud and clear. The readout is nice. The material is soft and he's squishy. Those are the good things.The bad things:- Setting the alarm is not as straight forward.- Once the alarm is set, having it turn on or off is completely stupid and even following the instructions it's still not an easy thing to do.- Controls could be a little better.- There is no easily accessible "snooze button". Yes, you can technically push any button to snooze it, but those buttons are small. You have to physically pick up the clock and push one of those tiny buttons. If you're like almost all of the people that like to snooze your clock for a couple more minutes of down time, you may as well just get your butt out of bed cause putting any focus on trying to get your motor skills to function to snooze this thing is just going to wake you up.For the lack of easy snooze button, I would have dropped this to a 3 star. BUT it earned a star because it is an "alarm" clock. It will get you up.

Oh my gosh I love this little alarm clock. I have been looking for an alarm clock to use instead of my phone so that I don't immediately start my day scrolling, and this did just the trick. I love the fact that it's USB-C rechargeable so I don't have to have batteries on hand. But the BEST PART of this clock for me is the fact that the screen default setting is OFF. I am very sensitive to light when I'm trying to sleep, which is why most other alarm clocks have been a no-go for me. But this one stays off, so I can thrive in my pitch black room. You just have to lightly boop the little capy to check the time, which is exactly what I wanted. Love it.
