Bought it for a 6 year old months ago and he still loves playing with it. The batteries last a while too. The problem is he likes to set it up when we don't know and then we trip it and the beep is loud and obnoxious. Gets a ton of laughs though and happiness is what matters.

My son's share a room, but my daughter often tries to sneak in there and cause some issues. So they thought it would be funny to setup this toy motion detector - to give them warning. It definitely worked as designed, detects motion, fun to setup and try to see if you can get by it. My kids have been playing with it on and off since it's arrived - that's 5-stars in my book.

My daughter likes to play spies and has a variety of spy equipment. When we saw this, it seemed like a good addition to her collection. Unfortunately, she thought it was not very interesting and after testing it out in different positions and distances, it just didn’t work very well. We don’t recommend it. It’s just not very good.

This is fun for the kids to play with. It can be a little finnicky at times and somewhat annoying, but is still cool for a while.
