The lids are impossible to snap on. Don't buy.
The 1st little plastic cup, with the little plastic top I was able to snap on. I opened it again to put the contents that I wanted to store, into the little cup and close it. I could not snap the top on, Even though the first time I used it, it did close but was some difficulty. Subsequent attempts to snap the cap on did not work; it was maddening. if I used enough pressure to close it the little cup collapsed and bent. Subsequent attempts to close it were futile. Probably because it had been bent. What a bummer. It's not just that it didn't work but it's the time I spent ordering it, the time I spent trying to get it to snap closed, the time I've spent writing this mean- spirited review AND the time I will spend perhaps returning it.(I don't know if it's worth my time) is absolutely frustrating.I did it correctly and it still was not usable.I am 74 years old, I'm not feeble, but I don't have enough time left in my life to mess around with petty little crap like this. It has put me into a terrible negative mood and I'm not acting like a good Christian grandma.Do yourself a favor, (you'll thank me later), do not buy this! Aauugh!@&$*#!

Effective, Reliable and Disposable Small Cups
Having managed several restaurants in a past life, I've grown accustomed to the utility of disposable portion cups, particularly for to-go orders and condiment servings. The biocean Plastic Portion Cups with Lids have proven to be a reliable and affordable option, reminiscent of those used in my previous culinary endeavors. These portion cups boast a standard 2 oz capacity, ideal for a variety of dry and liquid contents, from sauces and dressings to jams and honey. What sets them apart is their secure lid, which seals tightly to prevent any spills or leaks. This feature is crucial, especially for on-the-go consumption or packed lunches, where reliability is key.Constructed from reasonably thin plastic, these cups strike a balance between durability and environmental impact. While they may not be the most eco-friendly option, they are comparable to other disposable plastics on the market. While theoretically recyclable, it's worth noting that recycling practices vary widely across regions, and these cups may not always meet recycling criteria, particularly if they've been used for liquids. However, despite these limitations, the convenience and practicality of these portion cups cannot be overstated. In comparison to reusable plastic containers, which often end up misplaced or forgotten in daily life, these disposable cups offer a more attractive solution for packed lunches or on-the-go snacking. They stack neatly when filled and nest together efficiently when empty, making storage a breeze. In terms of versatility, these portion cups excel. Whether you're packing condiments for a picnic, portioning out snacks for a road trip, or organizing ingredients for meal prep, these cups prove to be invaluable. Their compact size makes them ideal for lunch boxes, while their secure lids ensure freshness and prevent any unwanted spills. Moreover, the affordability of the biocean Plastic Portion Cups makes them a practical choice for both commercial and residential use. With a generous quantity of 100 cups per pack, they offer excellent value for the price, allowing for ample stock on hand for any occasion. While these portion cups may not revolutionize the disposable plastic industry, they certainly fulfill their intended purpose with efficiency and reliability. As a family, we've embraced their practicality and convenience in various aspects of our daily lives, from packing lunches to organizing pantry essentials. While they may not be without their environmental drawbacks, their functionality and affordability earn them a solid four-star rating in our household.

Great portion cups
I ordered these plastic potion cups to use to pack peanut butter for my lunch. They worked well for portioning the peanut butter so that I could use it to dip my apple slices. I also used these to portion my salad dressing for my lunch. These worked perfectly for my intended purpose and came exactly as described size wise and with lids that stayed on. These would also be great for things like guac, salsa or jello. The 100 count was perfect to last me about 3-4 months of lunches. I recommend these if you need disposable 2oz cups.

Great for the extremely weird reason I buy these
I’m probably writing in with the oddest use of these cups among anyone who would buy them: I raise butterflies. 2-oz lidded cups are perfect for housing an egg and small caterpillar in while keeping their food plants from drying/wilting too quickly. You punch a hole or two in the lid with a straight pin and you’re good to go for at least part of the caterpillar stage, depending on the species size. And if you house them individually you know how many you have at all times. During the summers my rearing shelves are absolutely taken over by these little “monarch apartments.” Then, despite all my noble intentions to scrub them out and reuse them, I just recycle them at the end of each generation. At least they’re recyclable, because I still haven’t learned that I am just never going to scrub out all those cups and lids. I just tossed a bunch of last year’s into recycling today. These, specifically: these look like the typical rearing cups I’ve always used, and that’s good. They won’t start being occupied for another few weeks in my area, so I’ll see how they hold up, but I have no concerns from having inspected them. I think my very small tenants will be happy with them and the protection they provide. If you don’t live near a grocery chain that rhymes with “Schmoger” and have easy access to these lidded cups, you can easily grab them from this brand on Amazon. And half the time my Schmoger is out of them, so I’m glad I have this option when my area gets “egg bombed” with tons of little monarchs and they need housing.
